I’ll try to check it out today. Thanks for the link.
Thanks for the MHO. Will try to check that video today. Forgot to watch it.
I dont think wiping out the 3rd world is right though
The 3rd world nations is the foundation that the 1st world needs but never wants; but then complains about the house collapsing when theirs no foundation.
we dont need politicians and wealthy elites either as they are a drain on resources, many of those dont contribute and take, many even are responsible for the zero hours slavery we have these days, which is modern day slave labour... maybe the solution isn't to simply class those who have been made redundant a burden but rather to find a solution in what they can do instead...if humanity is destined for space exploration and colonisation then those ventures are going to need people like that to either send up and prepare habitats or train others to do the jobs not everything will be able to be automated and we still need humans to overlook what happens
PP the gov't still needs them. We are nothing more than drones. Work 40-50 years. With the delusional belief that we are indoctrinated in since birth of the American dream. All the while being taxed, taxed, taxed by an out of control gov't but most never see it because we attracted by our materialistic toys.
Distracted by materialistic toys*
@ChiTown33 the age of retirement now for UK is 75 and most likely to rise if this government keeps being as heartless and as greedy as it is
@SjE78 yeah i kind of feel like space colonization is never going to become a reality if it's left up to our nations gov't's though. I kind of feel it's only going to be done by the private sector. A corporation that finds a cost effective way to do it. For example 16 Psyche an asteroid is estimated to have rare earth metals at a value around 700 quintillion.
I would love to see you judged by your own standards. What do you contribute to humanity? Let's see if you can justify your own continued existence!
@Bananaman177 the American dream is real, it's just that now the oppurtunities for it are disappearing
I'm a successful farmer and I do a lot of work for a local charity.
You own a farm?
The farm is what's valuable, just because you farm it doesn't mean anything, maybe the farm would produce more if we gave it to someone else. Maybe you're an inferior worker who is holding the farm back from it's potential. Exactly the kind of person we need to get rid of to make room for someone superior. We'll allow you to compete for the farm job, but you'll be competing against the best and brightest that humanity has to offer, and if you don't measure up, it's curtains for you.Remember, you wanted this.
@ChiTown33 unless they realise wars are not the answer, then it will always take a back seat unfortunately, trouble is countries are run by the greedy and the irresponsible, we'd have more chance of thriving with a toddler in charge these days that asteroid is quite possibly a good motivator for the wealthy but who are they gonna expect do the dirty work? yep those they belittle and push to the side even tread on cos they believe they are above us all... truth is though we all have been indoctrinated to believe we need wealth and wealthy people to survive, people survived for centuries without wealth and can do again but that asteroid once those who the rich use to mine it have returned what's the betting that wealth doesn't go to anything good... but instead hidden away somewhere with the name (s) of those who were too wealthy to be considered worth doing the risky job
Just wipe out the Jews geez

The population is not going to zero, in fact it continues to grow way too fast. And no, it has never been debunked - the claim in the 1800's was that we would run out of food, but it has become clear that the problem is too much waste. It would be good for the planet for the population to shrink back to under 5 bil. It is religious and cultural cancers that keep the population growth too high.
@zagor I never said the world population was going to zero, I said most western nations have negative birth rates which is absolutely true. As for our population, again, that is not growing to fast, the only exceptions to the growth rate are African nations (and a few other third world nations) and they are predicted to level off within a few decades. So no, you are incorrect (aren't you always though). Here are some sources on the subject for you to ignore (as you are want to do): www.sciencealert.com/watch-will-overpopulation-lead-to-the-downfall-of-civilisationwww.thenewamerican.com/.../22292-debunking-the-overpopulation-mythhttps://youtu.be/eA5BM7CE5-8
Well there is an old saying - Chicken Little only has to be right once. It's funny how it is always those with religious or political reasons that are able to ignore the math and come up with a scenario that justifies continued lack of common-sense restraint on reproduction. Their comments ignore the obvious fact that the groups with high birth rates in our time raise their children in the same culture, thus pushing higher birth rates into the next generation, though generally at a slightly lower level than their parents.
@zagor Yeah, I used science not religion. I don't care if you want to hate an entire group of people, if you want to descriminate against people for their beliefs go nuts, your allowed to do so (well in the US anyway), but don't fucking use bigotry as an excuse to ignore scientific data, that's intellectually dishonest. Your wrong (as always), I presented the scientific data backing my statement, don't go rambling about religion or how your some how right even though all data shows the opposite, it shows that your not some one worth respecting when you dismiss facts because you simply don't like them.
@zagor Grow up and admit you where wrong and then move on.
But you presented no science, just presumptions that the birth rate will decrease based on what has happened in other cultures. This is "social science", not real science. The assumption is that as child survival rates increase with improvements in health and living standards, birth rates will moderate. This is valid to an extent, but discounts religious and cultural influences. Look at ultra-orthodox Jews in communities in NY state. They continue to have high birth rates even imbedded in a Western society.
@zagor I did present science. That's and idiotic claim, you have a non science claim which was then disproven in EVERY INSTANCE, and your going to claim that my rebuttal, which was scientists pointing out that overpopulation theory is wrong, wasn't scientific? That's called grasping at straws. Like I said, just grow up and admit your wrong and move on. Its not embarrassing to not know something, it is embarrassing to not know something and then refuse to acknowledge it even in the face of overwhelming evidence.
That is NOT science, once again. That is an ASSUMPTION based on a series of ASSUMPTIONS about what the future will bring. You admit that the models show continued growth to over 9 billion, but then assume that the population growth rate will slow to zero, then to a negative figure. But the assumptions are basically that population growth in economically deprived areas will slow enormously as the quality of life advances - i. e., West Africa will become more like Japan. But the example of the wealthy nations of the Middle East show that the influence of culture and religion can trump the influence of economic gains.
@zagor Whats science? A guess of what might happen back in the late 1700s or seeing a repeated and observable pattern (both of which are required as part of the scientific method) based upon OVER 100 DIFFERENT NATIONS that shows that the guess that was based off of absolutely no science what so ever, literally nothing more then a hypothesis made by some one that didn't take into account changing technology and social behaviors? The one that has statistical data showing negative birth rates in all first world nations or the one that said we would be over populated and rampant starvation would occur before the 1900s (which never occurred)? We both know the answer to this so please, for your sake, stop embarrassing yourself and admit to being wrong and move on, seriously, how pathetic can a person be? your arguing against scientific data (again the statistical data, observed data, repeated data) because you just don't have the guts to say you where wrong, because you don't want to lose face by admitting being wrong so instead your choosing to make a fool of yourself and lose even more face. Stop. Again, its getting pathetic. Move on.
But countries and cultures are not the same, so to say that X happened in country A due to circumstance Y, so the same will be true of country B, which is vastly different in culture, is not scientific.
@zagor Every country regardless of culture, period. Stop trying to rationalize failing, it just makes you look pathetic. You want some one to respect you? Admit when your wrong and move on. Again, their is no way around this, you are wrong, all the data from historical and statistical to actual birth rates shows you are wrong. Their is no way for you to save face, the only way you could have done that is acknowledge you where wrong and move on and you didn't do it. You. Are. Wrong. Put your big girl panties on and deal with it.
So short sighted people should be sterilized?
People who have deadly diseases or any diseases that make one more prone to experience death should be the first ones separated or sterilized. Then the ones who are less likely to survive well on society and keep up with society and the economy... There are some traits that can be reconsidered, like nearsightedness. I won’t give an opinion on that one, since I’m not a politician and don’t wanna be.
What your describing is natural selection, which eugenics in the modern sense takes over. Short sighted people before modern civilisation got less chance to pass on their faulty genes espicially through the male lines because if you can't see then you can't hunt or see danger etc. Medicine and technology allows so many people to live these days that would have otherwise died. Diabetes is another, so is asthma.
Yep, as I mentioned, those diseases should be cut out.
The problem is there will more more everybody's tomorrow.
@zagor Even then it's at a steady rate and it would take a lot for this world to become "overpopulated".. That's just somethin elites are feeding the public because they wanna continue to hog resources and wealth, and have an excuse to..
Your thinking in terms of government and corporation. You don't need money from taxpayers when you control where the taxpayers get their money from, how much they get paid and how much they get taxed. They aren't getting money from us, they already have it. They give us back just enough to pacify the plebs and they know it will just come back to them one way or the other.
They still rely on the workers.
They have plenty of workers. It's cheaper to import workers from the 3rd world.
So then it's not in their best interest to control the population overall.
The entire world has access to birth control and it's less expensive than the latest i-phone
Yeah, it’s called keeping your legs closed.
Ok birth control education
Jsyk, it’s also free, 100% effective, and it works every time
Well they had them and it won't stop.. So what else are you gon do about it besides put yo nose up at people who are affect by greed and resources gettin hogged up?
Not much. I'm gonna leave it to the bleeding hearts like you to take care of it.
Well at least you are honest.. 😂😂😎👉..
I think women always knew child birth wasn't fun, visit a cemetery that was built before the invention of modern medicine and the majority of the dead are women who died giving birth or complications related to child bearing before and after, as well as children.
That's why we shouldn't force women to have children. There is already 7 billion and the world is so crowded. It's painful and women shouldn't have to do it
Who is forcing women to do anything?
Do I look Egyptian or like a crusading knight of the Catholic church?
You look like a 50s man and you know it
... and you are a medieval man.
The poor have experience in how to survive with nothing even with a football team of kids; they can thrive better than anyone with a wealth of money and resources.
It's known that the Billionaires (* worth Trillions *) & Millionaires (* worth Billions *) hide the bulk of their wealth and summit the 1% interest of their 1% overall to taxes so taxing them more will not hurt them.
Interesting, it is amazing how far some are willing to go for their greed.
BS. A lot of the "plentiful land" is desert, and much of that which is not needs to be protected to keep our environment healthy.
This is a great one too! 👍🏻
Without people stealin resources Africa would be better off..
@JDavid25 Then its a win/win.
True.. Although, the China seems to be doin more for certain parts of Africa than the West right now.. Although at the cost of maybe another colonial take over situation..
America depends on the rest of the world for its food/ resources (ie: China, Caribbean, Africa, South America, Saudi Arabia & other 3rd world or developing nations ) without them you're nothing.
@brathwaitereginald74 That's not true at all. The US is a net exporter of food. We sell rice to Japan, wheat to Russia, etc. The government pays American farmers NOT to plant crops and pays to destroy excess crops very year, because too much supply is bad for the economy. Food production is definitely not a problem.
Oh, and there's more than enough domestic oil to last a thousand years. It's just currently cheaper to import some.
At least i know who will be the first one go.
