How do you know?
@Korand because i do not do anything unless I want to do it. I will not do something i disagree with or I am against just to make someone happy or because they suggest it. And if i do something nice for someone it is because i wanted to be nice.
@NickiB however that's the key to manipulation. I actually have studied a bit on the art of suggestion, and the power of pursasion. If you use suggestions or word thing right, you can get people to "want" to do things they don't exactly "want" to do. This is an important part of manipulation. If it's a hot day, and my sole purpose is to drug you. Through out the course of the day I can make hints to how hot it is. "Man it's so hot..." "Wow I'm sweating so much." "My throat is so dry now." Then later I ask, wanna get something to drink. At this point, you want something to drink as much as me not only because it's hot, but also because I've made you actually thristy by Making suggestions to how hot it was. Making you think more about your dry throat, and how parched you are. Then as I pull up to a gas station get some Waters, fill up one of them with poison. And give it to you when I get back in the car.
@Nikib that however is not a likely situation that people often encounter. A lot of people use feelings and emotions to manipulate a person. Love, Hunger, sadness, fear, anger. If you are feeling one of these things, you are much more susceptible to being manipulated by someone. It's also easy to manipulate someone who trusts you. If they trust you enough they will do just about anything. being manipulated doesn't just include getting into someones pants or trying to kill them but much more. Like having someone help you steal something, having someone buy you food, having someone Do something for you, and much more.
How would you know?
I take my time to formulate my opinions regarding what is discussed, and I act according to my own interest. That said, I can still be manipulated. But not easily.
Fair enough. What you ought to watch out for, is people who get you to believe what they want you to do, is in your own interest. A lot of people can end up making you think that, if I help them out, then I get something out of it as well... That can often be dangerous and lead to some serious problems. Just be careful tbh.
interesting profile, by the way
