Should we have more laws against emotional and psychological abuse?

It is just as painful and traumatizing in many cases. If the victim can prove they have been abused should the attacker be held responsible under the law? I am not talking about just trusting a claim that has no evidence to back it up. But someone could have recorded phone calls, screenshots and witnesses.

By emotional abuse I mean something serious, like someone leading you on romantically to get something from you and then dumping you like you are a disposable object, or someone saying lots of hurtful feelings to you many times, even though you didn't ask for it.

I am not talking about your neighbour swearing at you because you parked your car in front of his house.
