How do you feel about all of these abortion bans being introduced during the Coronavirus pandemic?

Today in Poland, they've increased their already strict anti-abortion legislation to criminalize the abortions of any and all foetuses, even if tests show them to be irreversibly damaged. Along with having introduced another bill today, criminalizing "the promotion of underage sex"- stating that any "people who encourage anyone under the age of 18 to have sex", regardless of context or circumstances, could face up to three years in prison.

And Poland isn't alone in changing its laws on abortion and sex crimes during the coronavirus pandemic, taking advantage of the indefinite moratorium on all citizens' rights to public assembly and political protest. In at least seven US states, politicians have also introduced new bans on abortion, citing "public health concerns".

In Texas, arguing that "abortion is a non-essential medical procedure that must be suspended to conserve scarce medical equipment for doctors treating coronavirus patients", Governor Greg Abbott has moved to ban all abortions indefinitely, with bans on abortion having also been enacted in Alaska, Indiana and Kentucky, while they've been introduced but are still being blocked by the courts in Alabama, Ohio and Oklahoma.

So, what do you think of all of these new abortion bans they've started introducing, while the supposedly liberal and progressive media's too preoccupied with hyping up the "coronavirus apocalypse", and repeating "stay inside and save lives" like a broken record, to even bother giving any of this new legislation a passing mention? And do you think there's a hope in hell that they would've been able to pass any of these new laws if people's rights to public assembly, and political protest, hadn't been stripped away for the foreseeable future?
