I think, oftentimes, even though there is an unspoken assumption that the other people online are SUPPOSED to be other people, because we don't see them, we understand their words merely as reflections of things that "other people MIGHT say". It is possible that there is simply a really sophisticated AI sitting typing these words; you don't know unless you see the individual in-person and understand them as more than the words on their profile. Especially in these trying times, when quarantine has forced people to self-isolate and stay home to avoid spreading Covid-19 and other similar illnesses, we are increasingly getting more and more separated. It becomes difficult to know who or what is real and not. We respond to what we are given, what we imagine others to be, but it's hard to know for sure unless they reveal themselves.

Therefore, an interesting social experiment presents itself: for the people on this site who have never exposed anything about themselves, besides tidbits of information relevant to their posts or responses, what do people think you are like and does it align with reality?
