thanks for mh
What are bible belt states?
@hi_it_is_me123 They are the very conservative, religious states. Examples are Mississippi, Utah, Alabama, Louisiana, Arkansas, South Carolina, etc. Look it up to see the map of it. All are in the south, from the east to the middle.
Wow so sad
@hi_it_is_me123 Yeah they suck, coming from someone living in one. Hopefully one day we will change how our education system but til then we're stuck like this.
I can attest to this. I live in the bible belt. Not only did they skip over sex ed, but they pretty much disregard reproduction in biology!Basically sex is not taught in school, not even how to be safe. Churches raise parents to teach children how immoral sex is before marriage, so parents really don't teach us about it either.So when girls get pregnant at 12 and 13, people wonder why no one told them about it. 🤦♀️
I would ask the teacher about the contraceptives
Why do people dont protest there?
Even my muslim religion teacher teach us about contraceptives
@hi_it_is_me123 That's why we're called the "bible belt." Sex is still considered a taboo topic to discuss openly here. Kids are just expected to learn about it from their parents (most of which don't want to talk about it), or from other sources. Schools will NOT teach it! Even though it's in our books? Nope. Most teachers skip over reproduction chapters or discuss it as little as possible
@Cynicaldreamer There are ways around some of the idiocy...https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=06kT9yfj7QE
Also in the bible belt where our sex ed involved learning about the name for all the parts on the sexual anatomy, abstinence, menstration (only the females learned about this one as the boys were barred from class that day), and making the girls care for a baby for two weeks The baby being a doll with a program that was set to cry at random times and recorded how long it took for her to get it to stop crying. Sometimes by bottle feeding, sometimes by rocking, sometimes by burping, etc. It was up to her to figure out what the doll needed. It also recorded any kind of shock. After two weeks she was given a grade based on the data the doll recorded. That was my bible belt sex ed. Never once were contraceptives mentioned. Only abstinence and this what your life will be if you don't practice it.
@Blueeyes81 i would throw the doll on the teacher. Wtf man.

I was not aware there was any significant movement for banning birth control in America. I think the asker is referring to the 'birth control should be provided by the state' vs 'people should have to buy it' dichotomy, and on that front, of course this should not be a political issue. If someone wants to buy it, and if they can't afford it, then they can't afford sexual liberation lol
*If someone wants to buy it, they can buy it* is what I meant to say
Wow, there are a lot og ignorant oponions here based on fiction.
I don't want free tampons, I just don't want them to be taxed as luxury items.
Hahahahahahhhhaaaaaa like these ugly asses on pictures are getting any dick... Dont make me laugh... wouldn't touch it with a stick...
@Vito123123 rule #1 of the worldany woman can get a dick
@SamtheDnDgirl I'll do you one better: I don't want tampons to be taxed at all, nor anything else, especially your income.
@SamtheDnDgirl as they are so environmentally unfriendly perhaps they should be taxed
If it was for environmental protection, maybe that would be understandable, and I'm not saying that sales tax shouldn't apply because it absolutely should, but the fact that it's taxed as a luxury item. And when over 50% of the population needs them, it's not a luxury at all.I'm speaking about all feminine hygiene products, not just tampons.
@SamtheDnDgirl they cost nothing
I don’t know much about the Bible.
That's probably for the best tbh
I heard that the Catholic church believes that also
? Uh no.
@cumbath yes it is. Women are suppose to get pregnant just like you are supposed to pee or poop. It’s kinda like saying I’ll take a pill so I don’t have to pee. Might work but it can’t be healthy for you.
You are fucking insane.
@cumbath I like your name
@nella965. Perhaps you could ask your grand mother how long down syndrome and learning difficulties have been around. It's true autism wasn't identified as such commonly until the 90's. Before that was often misdiagnosed as something else, or not diagnosed at all.
@madgoat it’s not only me who have noticed this huge increase in kids with mental disabilities. I’ve noticed it myself along with many older folks. Back then during the 90s-early 2000s, special education classes were small and few students now it has grown increasingly big. The demand for special education teachers and specialists for kids with special needs has drastically increased. And it all boils down to casual sex becoming more common place. There are many manipulative chemicals in birth control. Birth control also is not healthy at all and leaves you at risk for all types diseases including cancer. It’s ridiculous how you think birth control is healthy. It isn’t at all
That’s the dumbest ting I’ve read today. not to mention it’s inaccurate. 😕
@Pink2000 more like you just want it to be inaccurate , not that it actually is
But it is though.. you sound ridiculous.
Hey I'm pro life and no BC ends the life of a child, it prevents conception.
@Ámayas_20 Well the morning after pill does not prevent conception only attachment in the uterus.Regular birth control pills can do the same.
@Ámayas_20I'm sure there is a ton on the internet on this subjectwww.theatlantic.com/.../https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/10561657
While some BC pills do this it's not all they do, it's not generally how they prevent pregnancy and only some BC pills do this no other types of contraception and not all BC pills, I'm with you on those pills being pulled. It's the same with plan B some work this way some don't, I agree the ones that do should be pulled.Sorry, my original reply was vague, I spoke wrong I meant to say it's not common and no reason t oppose BC in general as it's great at preventing abortion where it is legal.
@Ámayas_20I learn some stuff reading up on it. It's hard to believe everything you read because some people have an agenda.Anyway, my wife and I chose to use a barrier method. She never conceived when we used it.What about the hormonal aspects? Aren't there risks in taking BC pills?
Of course there, any medication has side effects but it's up to the individual woman to decide if they're worth it. Personally, I think a hormonal IUD is a great method, it's as effective as sterilisation at preventing pregnancy, they work by preventing ovulation and thickening the cervical mucus so the sperm cannot swim to the egg if one is realised.
LOL this is fucking brilliant who drew this, I want to pay him money
@Shamalien "MadeByJimBob" Have some more:
It's because it's expensive. Men don't have pay for mensuration products every month AND birth control isn't just for reproductive instances. It also helps with hormone imbalances and lessening period symptoms. Disregarding women's reproductive health, basic human healthcare should be affordable. It's insane how expensive it is in the U. S. Dental work and hospital bills are insane! I respect your opinion, but why disregard female reproductive rights just because you don't experience what we go through.
@kellogg0224 - What do YOUR problems have to do with ME?
Blessed be the fruit
@Ellie-V Oh, May the Lord Open.Finished season three last weekend. Man, when is season 4 coming out?
To my understanding, it’s supposed to be out every summer (June-July) but with the pandemic and all, I think it’s safe to assume most film productions have been halted for a while. So there could be a delay in the release.
Also we don't blame women if we have testicle problems. We don't blame women why our balls are vulnerable and sensitive. Those 2 downvotes just have nothing else to say lmao.
That's not how it works. I'd recommend more reading the bible and less of this "fun" you mention.
Ah, an example!
It’s not that they are ashamed of their fertility. It’s that they are allowing for better planned pregnancy.
They still are trying their best to attain sexual pleasure without wanting their sex to be fruitful.
@Cryptic-Game i agree with you here
