We have laws against price gouging
Yes, so it isn't a completely free market. And didn't the video state that freedom was a quality of a country being great? This same freedom was originally used to uphold slavery.
By the Democrats, yes.
Why does that aspect matter? The topic is if the USA is the greatest country on Earth, and the value of freedom in ranking that. If you can't defend that, the video falls apart and cannot be used as a valid point behind your argument. You don't have to view the video to see this either, all the video did to my perspective of this matter is increase my worry about the delusion going on in the US about their standards of living compared to the rest of the world. Why don't you all fight for better living and conditions that have been shown to work in many other countries around the world already, that I hear brushed off as '****ing socialism'.I see you brushing off the others as having not watched the video either, when with some of them you have no way to tell. But again, if you can only address the start of my first point, then offer nothing of a rebuttal after then I think that's pretty telling in this matter.
Well it is socialism if you're forced to pay for it.
I never said socialism is bad. I said people say something is bad, then justify why it's bad by saying its 'socialist' and then never successfully justifying why socialism is bad.
Socialism is bad because it makes everyone pay for other peoples problems.
Which part of paying for the problems of others are you thinking about? Just making sure I respond to the right aspect.
We have the right to bear arms to keep the government small and make sure they don't over step their bounds like they have been. We don't have them to hunt we have them to make sure the people have power over the government. People shouldn't be afraid of their government, the government should be afraid of their people. And they are and they don't like that so they find ways to infringe on that right so the no longer fear us and have slowly become the mess it it now.
😂 It’s cute when people think they and their Remington are going to take on a Government that has drones, fighter jets, tanks, helicopters 10 million other things no one even knows about. Watch Waco on Netflix and see how that worked out for them.
Doesn't mean you can't still win. It didn't take much for protestors to get into the capital building in Michigan with most being un armed but also armed. They pushed their way to the hall nothing between them but a wall and police officers, no army. This was to protest against extending the stay at home order. And the representatives voted against it. No shots fired. However the governor still implemented it anyway regardless of the representative vote not to.
I would have no sympathy for those people If they were gunned down by the National Guard, which would’ve taken about 10 minutes If deployed. Better them than the innocent people they’re trying to spread their pestilence to. Rednecks are scourge in this country anyway

My beef with free Medicare is they decide if your worth the effort. Also where do you draw the line? Does everyone have to pay for abortions? Does everyone have to pay for someone's diabetes? Does everyone have to pay for the idot who wasn't wearing a helmet and doing stupid stuff on ther bike/ATV?
Thanks for replying tho, and not be hostile. Lol
And other countries where everyone is poor because of socialism
Covid-19 only has a 0.25 mortality rate. It's no worse than the regular flu
Oh, is that why US already has over 79,000 deaths.India is much less developed than US and has an exponentially higher population yet has only 2000 deaths.So...
And it's actually pretty worse than the normal flu
We actually only have had 3,000 deaths. They were labeling deaths of other factors as Covid-19 deaths because they could had covid-19. They even removed 200 deaths alone of PA's because they "accidentally "counted them twice.
79,000 baised of a model that has been wrong every epidemic/ pandemic. There are doctors speaking out saying that this covid-19 is no where near as bad as anticipated.
Or they're just covering it up to end the lockdown. Cause trump seems to just care about ending the lockdown.
Either a ways, if you look at the basic ability of a country to work together during a pandemic, there are countries like India, Canada, Australia and Vietnam are handling the crisis the best whereas US is somewhere near the bottom.
Sweden hasn't taken any precautions and they are making out better than all the countries in Europe
Let your voice be heard! It makes me happy to hear someone thank the people that sacrifice themselves for our country and yours
we will be always thankful you guys for everything you have done for us , you are doing and will do in the future,
He talked about it in the video. The USA is the Greatest country for Liberty.
There government systems are yes
We have democracy by the ballot, America has democracy by the wallet.
Actually we are not a democracy
How ever Bloomberg who is extremely left baught Virginia for the current left govenor that is infringing on our 2A rights even when 30,000 people show up to protest his actions. They still went through with the infringements.
Lean to spell, Berserk. Or is the American school system incapable of teaching people there how to write English?
@coffeewithcream It's spelled correctly! www.google.com/searchSays the person that can't spell learn.
Oh you just ment in general my bad lolBut still Says the person that can't spell learn.
Dismissed because you didn't watch video Steven Crowder was born and grew up in Canada, and choose to move to the USA. You would had know nat if you watched the video
I don’t have to watch a video to know America isn’t the greatest country in the world having actually seen much of it. You’re dismissed because you don’t understand your opinion isn’t a fact
Watch the video. If we are not the Greatest then why do the majority of people I know that have moved from between Canada and USA have moved to the US?
Its about 90% moved here?
People we know and like are generally like minded. Why do I only know people who voted the same as I did even though the other party for 42% of the votes? Also because Canada and America are very alike and literally on the same continent. Choosing your neighbour because it’s similar but different over a completely different (and better) country doesn’t make America the greatest country in the world. It’s obsession with perceived freedom overriding it’s peoples sense of preservation and quality of life is borderline retarded
We actually are very different. Canada is more structured like a European country
More precisely like Great Britain
Just because it’s a commonwealth country doesn’t make it just like the UK particularly in regards to culture.
Berserk, refugees from the United States have overwhelmed the Canadian border. Two men crossed the Canadian border for asylum in Canada during a night so cold both of them lost fingers and toes to frostbite. If some Canadians have taken job opportunities in the US, Canadians also take job opportunities in other countries as well. It's not proof the US is a better country. In 2016 Canada accepted over 7,000 refugees from the United States. You could ask each one of them why they chose to leave the US for Canada. They would have more to say than the few Canadians looking for an interesting job in Europe, Australia or the US.
In that I agree. We us to be the manufacturing giant.
And other countries ignore the fact that your never truly safe.
True: the pandemic shows this very clearly :D
The pandemic is a joke no more deadly than what the swin flue or bird flu was
I wasn't thinking about 'deadly'.The 'American way' may be the right thing over there - and for the people living in that system of 'values'.I tried to express that other people somewhere else just have different preferences - and can be as happy.Doesn't make this the term 'greatness' a very relative thing?
I guess so.In that case in terms of Liberty the US is
U. S.-liberty: yes, perhaps. My own definition of 'freedom' is a little different.
What is your definition of freedom?
I have a better idea about what freedom is NOT to me. Let's try:Freedom... to have a choice? To design my life the way I want it, without following the rules of others - where others aren't hurt or harmed.I find these things like 'freedom' of speech, religion, sexuality, etc... to be quite petty; they are just symbolic.I also believe to see that many own 'freedoms' may reduce that of others. Further: if my freedom requires from me to imitate/copy/support the ideals of others around, then it will make me a part of something that isn't necessarily me. Perfect freedom (for me) would be anarchy - but one that does not negatively affect my surrounding. By this logic, no country ever can be great; only individual people can be.
Reasonable reply 👍🏻 Did you watch the video? Just asking?
Yes, I've watched it.
Only have had 3,000 deaths.
Keep telling yourself that. Trump will die next.
And you guys should stop listening to Nazis. Talking about the guy in this video.
Plot twist your the Nazis because everything you believe in is what the Nazis did
No plot twist here. You are either a Nazi or a commie in America. You sound like both.
Tell me what's the definition of NaziAnd commieBecause I believe I Liberty Nazi or Commie's don't
And this Hollywood shit isn't?
@Curmudgeon It's equivalent, but more fact based.
@Curmudgeon Wow, now facts and objective truth is called "Hollywood".www.businessinsider.com/us-ranks-27th-for-healthcare-and-education-2018-9The US was once a leader for healthcare and education — now it ranks 27th in the world.
@RolandCuthbert It's an "objective truth" to you that having enough government programs is better than freedom of choice. That is telling. And who has been running academia all these years? You and your ilk, that's who.
@Curmudgeon Uhm, I guess that is the point. You can claim that "we" are great based upon the fact that tax dollars from U. S. citizens somehow do not make it into creation of programs that would enable them and their children to obtain the education necessary to earn more money. It goes to businesses that claim they are "job creators". Somehow that is called "freedom" of choice. I guess you can call it the freedom of choice for my money to leave my pocket. That is one form of freedom of choice. You call such a policy a taxcut, if it were a true tax cut, our collective debt would not grow. It is simply spending disguised with a label. And it is spending that is insidious because the debt we are going to have to pay down is insane.A cool 25 trillion.
@RolandCuthbert All right, I don't want to hear anything from you about "green jobs" or "stem cell research" again, which were and are nothing *but* corporate welfare.
@Curmudgeon I don't care what you want to hear. I want to find a way to an objective truth. Because you guys are going down the road of superstition, political sub-realities and outright lies. If you do not pass an appropriate spending cut with reduction of taxes, that is a net gain in debt. Period.Debt grows because you have less revenue coming in than what you spend. Back in my day, Republicans were all about balancing the budget the way a family would. I applauded that and voted Republican for a long time. Now today Trumplicans say certain types of debt are good. What happened to my country dude?
Name one that's better?
New Zealand Sweden Australia Finland
What about them makes them better?
How are we not the best control for individual Freedom?
It's hard to say it's the best control for individual Freedom when you're not free to do anything
Example of something like that?
What are you free to do?Can you drive a car?Go fishing?Get married?Live off the grid?Collect rain water?Opt out of taxes? How about vaccinations? What about education? Living under martial law when you're perfectly healthy? This is a free country?
Right of Freedom of speech and religion Right to bear armsThese are what makes us great!
Dismissed because you did watch video.
I don’t have to watch any videos to know that what you are saying is completely subjective. Maybe you think it’s the best country to live in, i disagree.
Good way to stay ignorant
My main reason for not thinking USA is the best country to live in, is because of how little importance they give to family. Once kids finish school, they go off to college and see their families 1 or 2 times a year at best. I couldn’t imagine being away from my family, not meeting my grandparents, cousins aunts and uncles every weekend for a family meal. I just think it’s so sad how little contact people have with their families, so that’s why i don’t think it’s the best country to live in. Sure, economically it might be great, and you might have so much variety and quantity of food you have an obesity problem, but families are torn apart.
Dont let the leftist here you say we have an obesity problem because is not right to blame the individual for them not being healthy.
? “The leftists” didn’t tell me anything, it’s public knowledge. Also, u didn’t answer to what i said about families being apart, which is a big problem.
It is a problem that families aren't together. My family lives close and are close. I couldn't imagine my family separated.
Conclusion: It might be a great place to live but not the best, that depends on what you prioritize more in your life.
Can't argue with that statement. For me I prioritize the individuals Liberty. For which our country was born and built from the ground up on.
