Men are always under so much scrutiny as far as their masculinity is concerned. People wonder why men have "fragile" masculinities, but they never take a moment to consider that it's because our masculinity is constantly under attack. Some would probably try to claim I'm not a real man just for asking this question. To control how men think, feel, act on such a large scale. It's a type of oppression women don't experience (yes, oppression, look up the definition of oppression and tell me I'm wrong). You just don't see it. There's a reason there's no female equivalent to the word "emasculate"
