Why do feminists claim that feminism is about equality and then say it is only about women?

Anonymous
It seems like feminists always claim that feminism is about equality and then also say it has nothing to do with men's rights. How can they claim it is about equality when it only cares about one side of the equation?

Why do people always redirect the topic of feminism to be about what women are missing about men?

Thanks to everyone for your responses. I want to clarify that this question is specifically about modern western feminism in countries like the US and Great Britain, so please keep responses in that context. Thank you.
