I disagree. My children are trained in the use of all the firearms in the house and are comfortable with them. The kids need to learn not to be afraid of a firearm and to demystify it. The thing is a tool nothing more.
@sirrober126 How old are they?
They are 8 and 10 now. I started them at when the oldest was 5. They can and have shot comfortably rifle and pistol.
Its every man's duty to protect his family. Average call to local police station arrives about 30 mins that's the fastest one. So I rather put my trust in my gun. Over some cop who might shoot me thinking am the threat cause am black. BLACK LIVES MATTER 4 EVER.
All lives matter
Thank you for the MHO. @YHL6965Well, I think it's time to take a closer look at what you guys mentioned. - What causes a feeling of being threatened? - Is it just fear or it's because of the previous experience?Please don't get me wrong. I'm studying non-violence. We all are judged in one way or another. The feeling of oppression isn't purely imagination. If it doesn't occur directly to us, it's probably a feeling learned from other people who had a bad past. It's okay to be strong and able to protect ourselves. However, I think sometimes, to look intimidating and armed might trigger more violence. I'm not a man I know. I haven't been in situations you've confronted. Well, I notice lots of people of color, men of course, raised this issue in all posts and videos about guns. Being treated differently is not fair, right? I'm sorry for that.
Well, I noticed a lot of people talk about protection here but very few people seem to consider guns as a hobby. What about people who just like to shoot their guns at the range? What about collectors?That said, I agree with your point. I don't think a weapon intended for defense, protection should be flaunted around and it's best to stay humble, stoic about your fighting capabilities. The best way to defend yourself is to avoid confrontation in the first place.

Can I ask, why do you want to keep your distance? Is there something you are afraid of? I'm not judging, just curious.
I've had a gun held to me before and i just dont trust the weapon nor the person. People who claim to be responsible could possibly fall mentally ill or snap at any moment. I rather not take any chances
I see, it makes sense. It's true that some people should not even have an airsoft gun in their hands because of how dangerous or irresponsible they are.
I hate airsoft. I trust paintball more. At least you know both of those and bebe guns are more so for wounding rather than killing
Why do you trust paintball more? Well, BB guns/aiguns are more dangerous than airsoft replicas.
Cause a paintball isn't a bullet
Airsoft guns should plastic pellets propelled by compressed gases, just like with paintball except with much smaller and lighter projectiles.
Some guy pulled a gun on you? You must live in California?
@888theGreat an ex pulled a gun on me because i wanted out
Some guy in flea market made a killing on those airsoft guns. They were so cheap , you shoot them 2 or 3 times and they break. Never understood people keep buying them.
you file a report with police?
@888theGreat i was 15 young dumb and in love. I kept my distance instead
How old was he?
@888theGreat we were both 15. His uncle gave him and his cousins a gun for if someone tried to jump them 🤦♀️
@YHL6965 own a gun i meant
