Interesting. Thank you for your response.
I agree with India, but why mexico? Currently they are in bad shape what with the cartels and weak government, so I find that an interesting prediction (honest question, I know India is slowly but surely moving up but I've not heard anything about mexico (Japans iffy in my opinion, on the one hand you are correct they are powerful in their own right but at the same time they seem to be stagnating right now (neither falling nor advancing) so not sure how that issue could be rectified to get them moving upwards again)?
@hellionthesagereborn It’s because of Mexico’s new president who has supposedly been trying to undo all the mistakes from the previous presidents. If this president truly is as good as he is said to be, then Mexico may have something good going for them, especially if Mexico continues to have more presidents like him. Not to mention that they are a fairly large country with abundant natural resources. As for Japan, they are ranked in 5th place in military might even without nuclear weaponry and they are still considered both a technologically advanced and economically stable country even though they have very few natural resources. Every country gets stagnated once in while, if Shinzo Abe’s successors are great leaders then perhaps their progress may resume via new ideas.
Haven't kept up with the new president (or the old ones to be honest) so I haven't heard that. I'd say figuring out a way to get rid of the cartels would be the first step (since they murder the families of anyone who attempts to enforce the law (they are the root of Mexico's problem currently in my opinion), though obviously a mexico that is better off is desirable not just from the perspective of mexico doing better but it would also mean every one else will be better off for it so I do hope it gets better. As for Japan true enough, though I think their will need an injection of "new blood" so to speak (as the diet from what I hear is essentially generational family lines rather then a true republic/democratic system which would allow for new ideas to be injected into the government). Though to be fair I have heard their has been a push in recent years for those more modernized approaches so hopefully that works out as well (because again, so long as the nation isn't trying to be destructive (like china) in their attempts to improve, every one benefits).
