Women of GAG, how do you deal with misogyny in person?

I served five years in the military. Today I was wearing my navy pride shirt. tell me that I shouldn’t have served. I should’ve have stayed in the kitchen. I told him he should’ve stayed in 1951. This was not at the VA hospital but at the grocery store and surprisingly it was a young guy saying this. I think I handled it fairly well. I know other military women who have gotten similar comments. Do you girls who didn’t serve get those comments? If yes how did you handle it? I turned off responses from the guys so y’all can be honest.

I know that kind of misogyny runs rampant in the internet, but this the first time I’ve ever seen it in person so I was honestly not upset but a little surprised (I know, I shouldn’t be).
