So lets get this straight. It's obvious that all lives matter. That is universally & ethically true. But when somebody says "black lives matter" that doesn't mean they are trying to say that all lives "don't" , It's just that right now the black community happens to need a little more awareness and notice then others, based on what happens, and will hopefully stop happening. Think of it this way: All houses on a street equally matter, but the ones on fire are going to need more attention. That is the best analogy I have heard. Remember, that while racism has become more rare, that doesn't mean it is completely gone.
