Many people say that people entered into rest, yet say we don't exist after physical death. That makes it sound as if we entered into something. You are giving an adjective description of something we've done even though they claim we don't exist. Why do people say this?

Also, if people say our life has left the body, it gives the perception that our life was transformed into another place but just isn't part of our body. Why do you think people say these things?

Please explain why you think people says this!
