By the way, unless you are Chesty Puller (the most highly decorated U. S. Marine ever) or "Movie Chuck Norris", you CANNOT defeat someone armed with a machine gun using an ordinary hand gun. It's impossible. So the Second Amendment does NOT help stop terrorism. Donald Trump is ridiculously wrong about this.It takes two armed guards per entrance to have a 50/50 chance of stopping one surprise attacker. The attacker shoots the first guard, and you hope, with at best a 50/50 chance, that the second guard has time to react and defend himself, otherwise one surprise attacker can kill two armed guards before they have time to react, and then they can easily kill anybody they want to for the next several minutes before SWAT arrives. So no, the Second Amendment does not stop terrorism nor armed robbery at all. It doesn't even help.

That's the pointWhy should we arm people?
People are already armed, you're not going to take everybody's guns away for a start. It wouldn't even be possible. The only people who'd turn their guns in willingly are the kinds of people who don't shoot people randomly, law abiding citizens who only own guns to protect themselves from bad people with guns, leaving them defenseless. I know you'll probably mention that you have police, but police can't be everywhere all the time to protect you. In general they turn up after everything's done, or in the middle of it. The most important thing as an individual is to do what you can to protect yourself and your family. When bad people have guns, you'd better have a gun too.Violence is escalating right now, and it's going to get worse no matter whether you're on any particular side or not. Cops are abandoning their positions also because they're unable to even do their jobs, they've lost control. The same cops who, by the way, the people who are all for gun control tend to think are tyrannical and are killing people for no reason, which also kind of means that they want the people who they say are killing them to have all of the guns. In the places where there are the most cops quitting, there are constant gun fights in the middle of the street. Again, if you're in that situation, would you not rather have the ability to defend yourself at least? I really can't understand this mentality.
I just think that, with all these unnecessary shootings, the whole "tyrannical government" reason, is bullshit
Do you know what the communists did before they took power and then began slaughtering thousands of their own people in the middle of the street? They disarmed them.Do you know what's going on now? A push towards communism in the US and every other Western country. Which will lead to civil war. Which will lead to much worse than the things you're talking about here.Like I said, I can't understand your mentality or why you can't see what's happening/what's coming.
Actually it does
The part where you’re not involved.
What if I'm a kid in that school, and it gets shot up.. and I die
Nothing to do with 2A since school kids can’t legally own a firearm.
That's the point. Most people who attack schools, are old enough, or, they're getting it from their parents
Still nothing to do with your 2A right. They shouldn’t be shooting anyone. Stealing a gun from parents has nothing to do with 2A.
Yes it doesThe parents have the right, the person is stealing themThey're GETTING ACCESS TO A GUN
And it’s a crime. They shouldn’t be taking the gun. They bear responsibility for taking it and the parents bear responsibility for letting the kid access it. The problem the that a person wants to hurt people, not that they have access to a gun. If they didn’t have a gun, they could take a car and run people down, so we should ban cars right?
It's a crime, to have a gun?
It’s a crime to take a gun you don’t own.
Not to mention shooting people. It’s their responsibility not to commit the crime. Just like everyone else. And it’s 2A that permits good people to carry a firearm to defend themselves and others against would-be killers.
But isn't it your right to own a gun, to have a gun on you?
The general right, yes, but that is further refined state by state. But none of them permit theft of a firearm. Depending on the state, some of them might hold the gun owner responsible for not securing their firearm correctly. But at the very least. The person holding the gun is still responsible for the crime. So broadly speaking, you have the right to own and bear guns according to state law, but not to shoot people. It’s the shooting people part that is not covered by 2A. Hence why other people shooting each other has nothing to do with your right to have a gun.
