The company my uncle works for is a supplier for SpaceX and designing some of the materials for the engines. Most of the time Musk is sitting around just checking emails, and micromanaging the PR department to look like he actually matters. The company would be quite fine without him. At least then he would stop taking credit for other people's accomplishments and trying to pretend the he alone has invented it all. He wasn't even a founder of the company despite what he'd like people to believe. The real geniuses behind Tesla are the only two founders of the company, engineers Martin Eberhard and Marc Tarpenning who quite literally were some of the first to create, invent and commercialize the electric car.
Heard about the employee incident but didn't that hapoen when tesla was going bankrupt? Lol. I mean we run a medical (services) and hospital buisness (to some extent) and employees/doctors miss important days all the time...On the second case it seems a bit rude but he's probably not lying...
You're probably wrong about the real two geniuses part, it isn't about creating an electric car or being able to sell it. It is about being able to build and manufacture one that can generate profit and keep the company afloat. Manufacturing is an underated thing, a lot of companies with higher capital have not survived.
Those are fair points to consider

Musk cologne isn't by musk is it lol?The sec thing was a 420 joke market reacted to...
Totally agree. I think what he's doing at Tesla is awesome! But the whole we need to get to mars or all of humanity is doomed spiel just seems narcissistic and ridiculous. It's like "omg if I get to mars first, I get to be king of the planet!" Like god, *groan. Eye roll. And he takes all the credit that all of his engineers do as if he himself does all the work of 1000's himself.
You see he's in the loop when it comes to them because he's powerful and wealthy but he isn't apart of them. It pisses them off and since they control the media they try to create hate against him.
But why would normal old people hate them (even if we/I assume what you're saying is true, I don't really agree I don't think it's hard to notice)...Are you suggesting old people want a communistic regime?
Well first of all what I am saying is true. Bohemian Grove is about due again this month or next month. But anyway I haven't heard older citizens saying anything about him. In fact most don't know who he is. Some astronauts went into space. They don't know it's Musk program. Some people do want Communism but it's disguised as "socialism". That's the softcore version of it.
@sensible27I'm listening to soundbites, to be fair, but all of them on a number of different subjects including tesla, hydrogen fuel, amazon, his mini sub, red pill, and others suggest supreme arrogance, a superior attitude and a willingness to vocalise his thoughts where perhaps he should not. Does he like your leader?
'does he like your leader?' wot? Watch an interview? He seems pretty reasonable. I don't think his issue is that he is outspoken it's more that he just doesn't have a filter and says what he thinks... And that to some extent is better than being super corparate and professional.
Yes, I imagine, like many of the successful people we see on TV and Internet, he would be personable and charismatic on a one to one. Unfortunately, that's not a side of them we often see.
I think you're overestimating what is happening. Bezos isn't rich, I mean he's rich on paper yes and he does have cash but his company doesn't make profits so stock value is mostly everything... He funds blue origin by liquidating stock... Musk takes a more risky approach because that is (mostly) all he can 'afford' to do while bezos can take it slow and smooth (which is reflected in companies moto, step by step ferociously). Musk needs to make money, necessarily but bezos can afford to not do that... He's practically sinking billions without making profit. And if you ask me both seem necessary, musk can take it fast while bezos can take it securely so that the dream doesn't die. If he had to compete better he probably could afford to but he doesn't and I think that should be respected.
Do you understand how scams works? Who is he scamming and how? Space x can be said to be somewhat of a contracting company, people pay them to out things in orbit (sometimes) and that's how they get paid? Who is he scamming you think, nasa? Us military? Satellite partners? Who? I just don't understand...
Space isn't real. Thats why its a scam. He was smart enough to get in on it.NASA has been siphoning billions of dollars for decades now.I dont have enough time to explain do the research
I assume you were pretty well regarded in all the academic systems, lol. I don't think I need to do the 'research', don't know if you trolling or not?
