Thank you for MHO, maam,
Here U. S woman were drafted. the American Revolutionary War, the American Civil War, World War I, World War II, the Korean War and the Vietnam War. To help replace tanks plates or air plane sheet metal install/replacement. Clean weapons to be reused. Others to make more bullets to be shipped for the troops. Many other jobs. Obviously a female no military background won't be in the front lines. As soon she hears bombs burst on air and air turbulence. She will shut down and freak out. It was best to have them in the shop to help the troops. While man had the choice either face reality and fight back to make it home or die trying. In the application for college financial aid there is an agreement to be in selective service= drafted. You must agree to obtain the aid. Many years people had protested not be in selective service. No win. It was placed for rest forever. The only way is by not asking government for help that way you don't sign in selective service. That is why is best to get a scholarships. Mostly entire USA is on selective service. I want to say at least 70% including me.
@Walt832 Dude women were never drafted in this country.. they have always been exempt from it. They worked during those times but they were not ever forced into military service. www.thelily.com/.../Im with @OlderAndWiser on this. Women should not be exempt from it.
@Walt832 From the selective service web site its self. https://www.sss.gov/register/women/
" Don't most women want to be treated as equals of men? " ... Not when it comes to the negative flip sides it seems
women might also get drafted. but won't often get put on the front lines which is not true equality. should be shoulder to shoulder with the men. dodging bullets and dealing with the enemy forces.
I don't really want women in combat and I don't think women want that, either. I just added that thought for the benefit of the angry feminists.
which is a fair point.
Thanks for MHO!

If it really goes wrong everyone has to fight and we all should be ready for it.
I know. My older brother will not join the army either but its obligatory here so he will have to pay the government around 10.000$
I bet she supports communism
It's a draft, what negotiation? 😂
@AcidT0y lmao, fair point, I guess I’m just talking about the overall concept of citizenship. Just tryna live somewhere without having to be part of what’s going on around me. Literally all I want in life.
Yeah I get ya 👍 not sure of anywhere that's a possibility other than living out in the woods somewhere. Would be pretty sick if there was though because government involvement in people's day to day is getting a bit beyond a joke at this point.
This is capitalism hard at work. Capitalism is pretty much responsible for the majority of conflicts in the world currently and since WW2.You are correctly playing the hand you've been dealt, so good for you Unit1
@BeenThereLovedIt not gonna believe that. Communism too had these things going.
But war makes some people very rich, and those same people are shockingly close to those who make war. Research the middle east, start around the 30's with brittish and french, then america's involvement starting in 1953. It's no wonder those people hate us.
@BeenThereLovedIt wars were caused for many reasons besides personal profit. Be it for territory gain, eliminating races or just for the sake of an armed conflict. Also war is very expensive and the only thing capitalists like about expensive things is if they sell their products for expensive. But then again, it's spending money and killing lives for any of the aforementioned motives.
So if another country wanted to come in and enslave our people, you would be okay with that rather than fighting them off?
Of course not. But such motivation, if explained without manipulation, would get sufficient volunteers to fend off this other country. And if the public is incapable understanding that, it's a failure of the state to educate.
