I talk to people from Europe, they get INSANE paid vacation time. I had to work two years at my company to even qualify to get ONE week. After 6 years you got two weeks a year. The most you could have was three weeks, after 15 years with the company. I got ZERO dollars in raises in 8 years, working 80-100 hour work weeks at times. I was working a full day in New York and then driving five hours to Boston and working a full night, TWO DAYS BACK TO BACK. I’m talking 1,200 miles of driving and 36-40 hours of manual labor in 48 hours. That’s illegal, first of all, and second, none of that was even my job, they just couldn’t be fucked to pay well enough to get guys in those areas to do it. And I still had my managerial duties on top of it. I’m not exaggerating or self-congratulating when I tell you I carried my part of the business on my back. And when my mom died, they expected me to work through it, I could take a day off for her funeral, but I still had to submit my sales team’s orders. The warehouse manager just quit because the same thing happened. His dad died, and they were like “uhhh... we can’t really get by without you working”... this guy worked there over ten years, that’s a fucking no respect move. Not to mention his stepson died like 6 weeks before, same deal though, they couldn’t have given a fuck less. I just don’t respect the type of economy that allows and even encourages that.

Wow, omost of the replies here at least reflect some part of the American experience that is true, but yours seems especially wrong, out of touch with actual America. Can’t wear masks at Walmart? Really? I’m not sure what part of town your from, but I’ve been all over, and your experience seems really unusual, a one off sort of.There’s some macabre drive to record everything that happens, and the more outrageous , the better. But that’s not unique to America, there’s sickos everywhere. There’s also attention whores everywhere, you make it sound like all of America is just like Hollywood. It’s not.
@Girther10 Yes, people in Florida and southern states are more often going without masks in stores whereas, New york it's less likely. I think the influence is based on the political beliefs and governors there. But I have some people who came from Florida during the winter months and were not used to having to wear masks when in NY. They abided by it, but seems like americans are making the bigger scene having to wear masks and don't do so even when the store rules are for them to do so. So there's nothing wrong with what I'm saying and I've seen enough sporadic people from where I 'm at not wearing masks despite almost every store having the requirement that they do.
And I’ve heard other nonAmeticans comment that Americans seem more reluctant to reject things like mask wearing. I think that’s true, Ameticans are more aware of how fragile our liberty and rights are, and we are skeptical” of our government and when it leans toward authoritarian acts , no matter how small, it’s one step toward being completely controlled by a over zealous government. In short, Americans feel more free than other nations and we don’t want to be more like the other shithole countries, nothing personal... lol
People in other countries don’t shake their heads whenever a natural disaster occurs, and the USA is first on scene with tons of the most advanced mitigation measures on the planet, now do they? Do you ver worry that your childish anti American snarkiness makes you appear like the red headed stepchild, envious of everything the other kids get?🤷🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️
The term you refer to was Bourne not by the Americans, rather by foreign nations grateful for hwveing their asses saved, time and time again. Ever hear of German engineering, or Asian cuisine, or Canadian bacon? How about Chinese virus?Ring a bell now, huh?
you are proving my point here mate
@Girther10 @clinteas Correct. Also, "normal" countries don't shake their heads when American troops protect them from brutality a few kilometers away. Hey, you don't like us, that's your right. The difference is we don't give you enough thought to like or dislike you.
Yep. Greatest country in the world 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
lol its true I talked to British and Canadian they think Americans are cocky, selfsh, vain and arrogant and dumb ngl
That’s quite a feat, considering in America there’s at least three hundred a fifty million people.Having spoken to every single one of them must be exhausting, but noble to say the least. How long did it take you? Longer than taking a class in the prevention of spreading miss truths by over generalizing and using hyperbole to deliberately skew any potential valid that is not already corrupted? You are amazing.. so honorable.
But you DID lie, right here. “Ngl” is a beacon to the fact checkers, the guilt ridden nerds that sit, checking their shorts, to see if they farted yet... or really pooped, their proven litmus test.
The thing is, in both cases, they can’t tell. The different contexts and direct quotes are rarely kept, and the default answer is always “lie” as if anyone cares.. lol
Really? A whole country is “immature for their age”? And so what if they think they are the center of the world, they ARE the center of their world, should they not think that? Why?We don’t actually care that much about other cultures, why should we? They’re interesting, but why should we care about them? Do they care about ours?@more_than-a_guy- it’s too bad you aren’t more of a brain, if you were maybe you’d tell me why any of what you said is important in the world today, better yet, how does any of that answer the core of this question?Especially the remark about “immaturity”... lol how do y9u explain that comment,; maturity in terms of what? Number of years lived, or achievement in progressing the human experience, maturity in terms of culture? Maturity in terms of technology? It seems you know shockingly little about Americans at alll... how do you explain that?
Yes, thank you for remembering that, we are proud to brag that our country has the best and greatest ,.. pretty much everything, like our 11 aircraft carriers in our navy, second place is China with three aircraft carriers, which are refurbished Russian rusted flattops.., we have plenty to brag about...
We do have plenty to brag about. But, we are not the greatest country in the world. People's reasoning for being the greatest country in the world has no evidence. There is no justification. For example people represent Freedom has a symbol of being the greatest country in the world. Canada has freedom. Japan has freedom. The UK, France, Italy, Germany, Spain, Australia, Belgium has freedom! So, 207 sovereign states in the world, like 180 of them have freedom. There’s absolutely no evidence to support the statement that we’re the greatest country in the world. We’re 7th in literacy, 27th in math, 22nd in science, 49th in life expectancy, 178th in infant mortality, 3rd in median household income, number 4 in labor force and number 4 in exports. We lead the world in only three categories: number of incarcerated citizens per capita, number of adults who believe angels are real and defense spending, where we spend more than the next 26 countries combined, 25 of whom are allies. It sure used to be… We stood up for what was right. We fought for moral reason. We passed laws, struck down laws, for moral reason. We waged wars on poverty, not on poor people. We sacrificed, we cared about our neighbors, we put our money where our mouths were and we never beat our chest. We built great, big things, made ungodly technological advances, explored the universe, cured diseases and we cultivated the world’s greatest artists AND the world’s greatest economy. We reached for the stars, acted like men. We aspired to intelligence, we didn’t belittle it. It didn’t make us feel inferior. We didn’t identify ourselves by who we voted for in the last election and we didn’t scare so easy. We were able to be all these things and do all these things because we were informed… by great men, men who were revered.Yes, there is no other country that I would rather live in, represent, and defend with my life. But, America is not the greatest country in the world.
Can you read? You say “no evidence”.. when I just told you about the number of aircraft carriers far and away the most in the world. There’s other evidence as well. You said “no evidence”, that’s just wrong. Pretty simple right? We can debate what things make a country great, and what makes it the “greatest” all day long. It’s a matter of opinion, obviously. But “no evidence”, that’s pretty absolute,, and is simply not a fact., in this case.
You may be “nyce ”, but your not right about this. Just because you repeat the same thing over and over foes not make it a fact. It just means you keep repeating a falsehood.
You are right. We are a power house to be reckoned with military wise. But war doesn't prove whose right, it proves whose left. But, when I hear people spell a simple word incorrectly, that goes to prove all my facts. They spell welcome with two L's even tho it is spelled for them on entrances, doormats, and it is a very commonly used word. Something so simple yet too stupid to get correct. Everything that is going on in America right this minute and you still think we are the greatest country in the world? Like I said we are a great country but not the greatest country.
We can agree to disagree. Everything I said and the only thing you can repeat is the we have the most aircraft carriers. How does having the most aircraft carriers feed and shelter the homeless people, protect out kids from pedophiles, or helps with the racism? How does having the most aircraft carriers educated our children? How does having the most aircraft carriers put out the wild fires destroying people's homes and businesses? How does having the most aircraft carriers help the cancer patients?

Envy is a sin
@Bratsondanielle I've heard so. What does that have to do with what I said though?
No no I was agreeing with you. I just tried to say " they are envious of us I just said it in a cocky way
@Bratsondanielle Ahh. Well, technically I am also one of them (I'm half American). Haha
Well then you don't have to envy us ... half American is " an American " if you were born on us soil you are a citizen of the United states
@Bratsondanielle But I'm also citizen of another country.
right they are dumb and stupid 😂😂
