Arr your San Francisco friends Republicans or Conservatives? I hope they don't vote for the same policies that made San Francisco unlivable.
😂 they're more independent voters who do lean towards conservative. I honestly see that as a major issue going on with all the transplants. They leave California and then go and try to change red states into more liberal ones and it's becoming a major issue in recent years. Texas isn't what it used to be sadly 😞. I used to live in Tulsa, ok where it was (in the last election) a red state but things are changing like crazy in our red states.
i don't understand how someone could flee bad policies and then turn around and vote for those same policies; what are these blue state refugees doing in most cases
@007kingifrit EXACTLY! it's the same delusional behavior on repeat.
I've been told that California is mostly Red, but that the Blue major cities like Los Angeles and San Francisco overpower the rest of the State or something like that.
I've read that Austin is a Blue city, but that it's among the best places to live in the USA. That's why I want to move there. Besides, the State is mostly Red, including the administrative Capital, so Austin has to abide by the laws implemented by Houston and for the State as a whole. I also know that Austin is nowhere near as bad as LA.
Its getting there...
I'm a hardcore Republican and Conservative.
So red states?
@DavidFox what do you mean?
I mean the question was to choose between red or blue states. I didn’t see your answer, so I assume you would rather pay less taxes and have more freedoms living in a red state
@DavidFox you did not watch the video I just posted did you? its short and to the point, not always less taxes is necessarily better. those taxes fund many programs that benefit society as a whole.
I didn’t watch the video. There are programs that can be cut, so less taxes are usually better.
i also didn't watch your video... because it has nothing to do with the quesiton. you didn't answer the question
@DavidFox not true you are looking at taxes only as an expense, some what is done with taxes is a good investment, think of spending money to automate an aspect of you rbusiness, that is something that helps improve it , not just an expense
I’d rather pay less in taxes. Do you want to pay more? I work hard for the money I earn, rather the federal government gets less of it every paycheck.
how foolish you must be to think the government spends your tax dollars in a useful way
@007kingifrit some tax dollars are spent in useful ways. The military, law and order, education, fda, and irs are all examples of useful tax dollars in the USA. However there is a balance and when the government wants more % in taxes from the citizens than is required for some basic services that’s where the citizens should push back. @Danielstairclimber perhaps your example of taxes not only being an expense is they could go to improve automation is justified on some scale; however based on history the majority of innovation in the USA has come from the private sector and not out of government.
I think that I am going to break up with my fiancee (who is a leftist) and then move out of this blue state. I just don't want to be around the enemy any more
military towns tend to be the same everywhere but if you actually lived there full time you would notice big differences
@007kingifrit as a child I grew up in a town next to base. So yeah it is acutally different everywhere from what I've seen
aw man I was thinking of moving there or maybe Maine. I like the history and culture there. Washington state people and California people are too stupid for me.
@Ranasal_Gansen no they're just as stupid here, why not pick new hampshire?
Is there really such a big difference?
Mass is a different kind of stupid I think. There's no CHAZ or transexual hipsters in Boston. I feel like people there are less ridiculous but that's just my impression.
I mean I kind of like cities too so I'm singling out Boston I guess.
@Ranasal_Gansen but yea mass and NH are super different places; plus NH is a swing state, you can make it go red
How come what
You wouldn't rather live in the States?
But frankly, if I had to live in the United States, definitely would prefer a Red State to live in. Texas seems good
I want to move out of here eventually.
Florida has better beaches but SoCal has some great beaches also.
I'd like to visit, but I could never live there. WAY too expensive for about everything.
so you prefer a swing state like Michigan or Florida?
@Danielstairclimber Not really. Would prefer at least one state where neither the Democrats or Republicans are in power. But I know that's wishful thinking until people realized neither of the major parties only want to have to power to completely control the people either through direct government control (Democrats) or through the major corporations (Republicans).
@Danielstairclimber Most Republicans win here
you in the swing state of FLorida? you are a swinger
lately yes. I hope the tables can be turned
