Dont you just love when someone deletes your comments proving them wrong even when you include citations and actual legal code?

So basically what happened is i disagreed with someone on reporting a missing person. Basically this person was telling the asked that you cannot report a missing person without waiting 48 hours. Which is complete and utter nonsense. Because the first 24 hours is crucial to finding that person. I attached legal code and a web site that simplified it, and the person deleted my comments saying that its not true in all states, which again is not true, Federal law dictates that no state policing agency can impose a waiting period..

Attached is what i posted.

1. Call the Police Immediately

Before doing anything else, contact your local police immediately. You might have heard that you need to wait 24 hours before reporting a missing person, but the waiting period is a myth. In fact, taking action within the first 48 hours is crucial to bringing a missing child home.

Each State reporting under the provisions of this section and section 41307 of this title shall—(1) ensure that no law enforcement agency within the State establishes or maintains any policy that requires the observance of any waiting period before accepting a missing child or unidentified person report;

Kind of sad isn't it. the person deleting my comments could lead to the missing person not getting found, or worse getting killed.
