Nah... I don’t agree.
1. usually nations are divided and don’t vote for the same thing... yet one half normally gets stuck with the results.
2. normally governments overstep their bounds and seize power that isn’t rightfully theirs... the ignorance of the populace doesn’t justify this, it’s still an evil act.
3. politicians lie in order to achieve their goals... that sin is theirs, Not the sin of the people lied too.

Yes, I do agree. You lie in the bed you make for yourself, you reap what you sow. In the name of democracy the task of erecting leadership falls to the masses. I lean towards Hobbesian principles here in that once the people agree to hand over power to someone, they afterwards have no authority to protest against it.

No, not everyone votes for the same candidate, but lo and behold that is democracy. Not the rule of the people, but the rule of the majority. So unless people are prepared to enact direct democracy, in my opinion, they need to get with the program and accept the system they always theoretically defend so passionstely.

Ideally, yes. The problem with politicians is that they seldom give you what they SAY they will!
That's why President Trump was so unique. He wasn't a politician. He's a businessman and businesspeople are used to just closing the deal, not making nice-nice with everyone along the way.

No. People can vote but they don't have any influence on voting options. Even if they voted for a party who promised to care for their interest, this party turns after elections instantly against the people. Elections is a scam, not becasue they are rigged, but because voters aren't allowed to change the system. Real revolution is necessary for that and not just controlled one provided/allowed by the system.

A country should have a government that listens to the people and then give the people what they desire. Sometimes the leaders have to make decisions on the consent given to them, but they should always make a decision based on the best benefit to the nation.
