Citizens United v. Federal Elections Commission was a 5-4 Supreme Court ruling which affirmed that corporations are legal persons and that they, labor unions, and other outside groups could spend unlimited amounts of money to influence the outcome of U. S. elections. There is now a movement to repeal this with a Constitutional Amendment. What do you think?

So I just read that the Democrats and some Republicans are trying to get a Constitutional Amendment passed that would essentially nullify citizens united. At first I was glad to hear this and thought it was a good idea, but upon reflection, I realized that even if they accomplish this all that will happen is the corporations will find workarounds and ways to bribe politicians anyway.
