Why does the right wing not want unity?

We want unity.

It is the left that has been hell bent on separating this nation for decades. Which side pushed racial and gender differences? Which side is obsessed with "intersectionality" - you are the sum total experiences and identity of your group. Which side is constantly emphasize all the differences between men and women? Which side is constantly finding ways to create antagonism between the races and the sexes? Which side is obsessed with finding racism and sexism under every rock , under every bed and inside every closet and even inside their chicken soup? Wait for it...

The Left.

But this is necessary for them since they are all Marxists. In order to create a classless "workers paradise " you need to emphasize how we are all different and express that all differences are the result of oppression and evil and what not. With this , the left can then point and say "Look , this is why we need Marxism!!!".

They make you sick but then turn around and sell you their cure.

This is something that is not going to stop. They have been at this since the 19th century and even Marx said that achieving a communist state would take generations. In the US it will take longer ( assuming that we become a Marxist state in the first place) for several reasons:

1. The US is a nation rooted in capitalism. This is part of the culture. When the yearning masses came they were looking for freedom and opportunity - not state sponsored Marxism and suffocating control.

2. Many, many , many people have guns. This is not a detail that is lost to the powers that be. Some may consider this to be a superfluous detail but keep in mind that one of the major move a true totalitarian state carry out is the disarming of the populace. The powers that be need a people that cannot have the capacity to fight back.

This is why I think VP Harris is very dangerous - she has said that she is in favor of a federal buy back program for guns. This means getting rid of the second amendment.

3. There is a deep seated district of government in a huge swath of the population that stems back to the colonial days. Keep in mind that at one time we were British subjects and the Crown had a lot of power over the 13 colonies. King George III was seen as an oppressive tyrant who was all powerful. This in large degree helped shape the US so that we would have separation of powers and check and balances.

To be a leftist is to place all your trust and faith in the government. This is what the left wants of course - the State as God. But history has shown us how oppressive and abusive governments can be.

At any rate, everyone knows that Democrats/the Left have a strange idea of "unity", one that sees them expecting their opponents to give the leftists what they want rather than any compromises be made. Then again, how to you compromise with those on the Left who have variously called for 1) re-education camps for Trump supporters, 2) taking the children of Trump supporters away from, 3) mass killing of Trump supporters, and 4) bringing in Chinese troops to annihilate Trump supporters, among other things?
