When you tell a lie (even a white lie) are you aware of your ‘tells’ that might give you away?

There are a number of myths about detecting deception. Fidgeting, looking away, touching your mouth, all of these things are commonly thought to be practices that indicate deception.

unfortunately there’s no universal way to tell if someone is lying. Instead you have to know a person well enough to look for their individual ‘tells’ that they are lying. For one person it might be looking away from you, for another it might be looking right at you without blinking as they are tellling the lie.

are you aware of yours? If so what are they? and please don’t lie about that.
