"Abortion" for men?

Question

This isn't a poll of weather abortion should be allowed or not. This is a poll because abortion is allowed. If a woman can abort her child, without the father's consent, and keep it without consent as well, should the father have this same right? By "abort" I mean absolve himself of all parental rights and responsibilities, to include child support.

It astounding that so many men think that ignoring the existence of their own offspring will somehow create equality in the abortion debate.

I'm against abortion. However, as long as he have it, equal rights MUST be provided, not special ones for women only.

Outlawing abortion doesn’t create equality. At no time in your entire life will you ever be forced to physically use your body to keep another alive. But in your world forcing a woman to do so is somehow “equality?” 🙄
And the alternative to outlawing abortion is that men can impregnated as many women as they want with the ability to wave off responsibility, leaving society to pick up the slack. Is that what you envision?
All so you can feel like the whole reproduction of the human race is equal for you?
Guess what? It’s never going to be equal until biological men can get pregnant and give birth.
Until that day, there is no equality to be had, no matter how sad that makes you.

Do you know how fucked up that is? You have an issue with a woman aborting a fetus before it’s even self aware, but feel no remorse about disowning it after its born?
So your concern isn’t really about the child. You don’t like abortion because you think it gives women some sort of power over men.

No, I would not abandon my child, you ignorant assuming fool. As for "abandoning" the child, that isn't nearly as bad as killing it. If women can abort, men can abandon. It's not nearly as bad, and if it's his money, it's his right to choose what to spend it on, just like it's hers to keep or kill.

Uh… guys can, and do. Frequently. There is some paperwork involved, the father will lose any and all custody, and someone has to be willing to take over the parenting. But yes, adoption is a very common thing.
