Would you rather there was no pork packed into the Covid relief bill?
The reason our $2,000 checks are now down to $1,400, is because of all of these pet projects that are crammed in the bill. We could of had our checks a month ago, if they'd stop doing this crap. Now house and Senate will have to haggle back and forth, meanwhile, we're waiting for our relief checks.
Why not vote on these projects separately, instead having them masquerade as part of Covid relief?

*$100 million for underground rail project in Silicon Valley
* $500 million for museums & Native American language preservation
* $1.5 billion for Amtrak, which still has $1 billion in unspent aid
* $50 million for environmental justice grants
* $50 million for ‘family planning’ orgs like Planned Parenthood

And the list goes on and on. I can only imagine how many billions will go outside the US.
I'd rather Covid relief money go directly to the American people and small businesses that are hurting.

I'd rather receive a smaller relief check, and see the rest of the money go to arts and museums
