What the heck is "Woke"?

Being "woke" means that you believe that some men have vaginas and give birth. It means that everyone who isn't a "cis"-gendered, straight white male is a victim of systemic repression. It means you think men who "feel like" they are women should be allowed to compete in women's sports. It means you believe in equality of outcomes instead of equality of opportunity. It means you think that people with sub-par grades and test scores should be admitted to colleges and universities over those with superior credentials if they are in a "victim" category.
All of these things (and much, much more) are emblematic of "wokeness." It's an ideology based on critical race theory and intersectionalism. The latter posits that the human experience is based on the superficial categories that wokesters place people in, and that these categories are determinative of life outcomes instead of individual talents, hard work or personal achievement.

Definition 1: It's the new label for what we called political correctness a couple years ago. As with everything the toxic left touches, 'politically correct' took on a negative connotation. So they rebranded it as 'woke'. It's basically the same thing as rebranding 'liberal' as 'progressive'.

Boomer... after WWII (my father) returned from serving overseas in the US Army... married my MOM and had 4 Kids 1948, 49, 50, 52... we are the from the "Post War Baby Boom" = Boomers
