I think the Saturn V is amazing and the Rocketdyne F-1's and their seven and a half MILLION pounds of combined thrust are jaw dropping.

Nothing done since then has impressed me as much as what they did in 1969.
You had a president laying out this huge goal... to be done by the end of the decade... and the country's brightest met the challenge. You had a president saying "ask not what your country can do for you... ask what you can do for your country".

I was not born then but I was really fascinated by the space program. I wanted to be an astronaut and joined the Air Force wanting to be a pilot. Over the last 20 years the US space program has been a joke. It looked like Trump was trying to bring it back. Biden would rather spend the money on freeloaders streaming across our borders.
