I'm not being racist here but white people are such good fun to be around regardless of their ethnicity. I am proud to be an Indian guy who has Western values. My values have been influenced by white people mostly. :) Melancholic that white guilt is on the rise, especially in the US.
What is your heritage, then? Most people that follow this line of reasoning tend to be Jewish.
But your ancestors have not done anything that any other group has done. Ironic since the very claim is itself, racist as it presupposes one group being superior or inferior due to their race.
@GnatSocks I am predominately German, Irish, and Native American.
Okay, you have been victim to a widespread shaming campaign against whites. Let me explain the situation. Natives and whites didn't hate each other. It came down to tribe. Why do you think so many americans have native blood? They mixed. It wasn't just hatred. There was affection, friendship, and even love. Natives loved Europeans because they could work metal and help wreck their rival tribes. Europeans loved natives because they were a trading partner. Some would skirmish with whites and even take them as prisoners to be metal workers in their villages. It was just a little battle like they had always done, but whites sometimes go hard in war. This isn't always bad. For example the aztecs were just about as evil as you can imagine, they enslaved all the other tribes in the area, and when you met them, you had a choice: become a slave or they will rip your still beating heart from your chest, and that will be the last thing you see before you die as a sacrifice to their gods, or become a slave. There's no promise they won't still do that, but that's okay because fuck you, buddy. So those tribes who were being enslaved saw the Europeans building schools, teaching about love, compassion, and forgiveness, saying these nonsense words like hope, and having settlements without the constant threat of truly monstrous violence, and then looked back at the laughing Aztec ruler laughing maniacally as he pours blood over himself directly from a human heart, and think "maybe these pale faces aren't so bad."When a white person came to exploit an area, they built schools and hospitals (both of these are european cultural things). They encouraged peace, the idea of consent and maybe not eating people, and overall, when they exploited a people, they also built them up as well.
@ChefPapiChulo I'm not wrong, though. By the way, archive.seattletimes.com/.../Your ethics are based on european ethics. What you see as wrong is only because of European and Christian ideals. Even the idea that women aren't simply property, like a piece of livestock, is European and Christian.
@GnatSocks I’m not sure if you read your own article. I’m not sure what you think you’re right about. Complete incoherent rambling.
Bro, did you just comment on like 6 dead threads of mine just to block me? The asker here feels white guilt. That isn't good, and needs to understand who whites truly were from a frame without the constant hate, even in the time period we are most slammed for. Now natives had their wonderful qualities too and they seemed happier and more content than the industry focused Europeans. I can talk about the things that made them great, but that isn't the concern right now.
@GnatSocks Chef blocked you huh? Typical! He's been doing that a lot lately.
Yeah, it is what it is. It's a bunch of new information for a lot of people, and their brain wants to fight it since it challenges their view of the world. I don't actually blame him for it. It's a natural response.
@GnatSocksGood thing he blocked me now; that's what I was hoping for. Now I won't have to bother reading his nonsensical diatribe on my questions. Hardly anybody here takes him or anything he espouses seriously, either. He's perceived more as a source of comic relief, and not as an intellectual force to be reckoned with. It's why I don't debate him, but rather just humor him in his trivial pursuits.
@GnatSocks He's done the same to me, don't feel bad (you where never going to get through to him. Sent him twenty different links to prove a point and he still claimed it was all false (even had video evidence). So no loss their. Also that article is interesting, not surprising to me (look at every tribal group and your going to find that (european, African, or native American, early man was savage), but its good to have solid proof. Reminds me of when they tried to argue that the Carthaginians ( northern africa and mortal enemy of rome) didn't have child sacrifices and it was all just an attempt to demonize other groups. Then they exacavated a site and well, lets just say even planned parenthood doesn't see that many dead babies.
@hellionthesagereborn you can't even spell
@hellionthesagereborn who the hell is they? You people are ill.
@ChefPapiChulo Glad to see you unblocked me just to say that. I can't spell but neither could Hemingway or F. Scott Fitzgerald so I'm in good company. Besides which spelling is arbitrary by its nature and I would much rather be able to critically think then spell, clearly you have chosen the wrong priorities.
@hellionthesagereborn Being able to spell is an indicator of having an education. For example, the links you claimed to have given me were not credible, and didn't prove your point. If you had a proper education you would be able to clearly communicate your point with sound logic and evidence, of which you are not capable.
@ChefPapiChulo Well I just listed off two of the very highly regarded writers of the modern era both of which could not spell. Also again, spelling is arbitrary and for most of history we did not have standardized spelling (if you read works from the sixteen hundreds or earlier, poetry or otherwise, they don't spell any words "right".). So that is completely incorrect. In fact their is no link of any kind with spelling and education nor is their a link between spelling and intelligence. Also education is a rather meaningless statement as education is not the same thing as knowledge, intelligence, or critical thinking, all of which you consistently prove you lack. So again, as per usual, you are incorrect (and have no argument hence trying to attack my spelling instead of any of my arguments made (or using facts of your own (which you don't have because your, to use your term, "uneducated").
@hellionthesagereborn I think you’re projecting there. I just replied to one of your opinions where you spent an entire paragraph calling the OP stupid lmao.
@ChefPapiChulo Well if its the one that I think it is, its because he is. He knows what is true and he chooses not to believe it, like yourself, opting to live in a fantasy world no matter how much evidence is presented to him (again like yourself). That is stupid. I do that because he has openly made racist statements and I believe had made racist statements in his own post I was responding to, and I am tired of dealing with him and his insults to others and his intentional manipulation. I only go that route when I have dealt with a person for years and they continue to be racist, hateful, and intentionally misleading and refuse to accept reality. I haven't known you long enough to entirely give up on you right now, but give it a month or two and I will probably start talking to you like that as well because your also choosing to be hateful bigoted racist and stupid (hence you trying to jump to all of my comments just to insult me (like you have done previously) and deny reality (as you have done previously). In short, your desperate because you know your wrong, you know you have no argument no truth on your side and you want to insult me and harass me (and others) in a vain attempt to silence the truth so you can continue to live in blissfull ignorance.
Am curious to know why you ask given our prior chats
Ahhh, you don’t understand many things... including DNA. At age 23 that’s sad. Someone that to be in the lowest quartile of intelligence, so why not you I guess. Now you can Insert stupid comment below:
