this is totalitarianism. china did and has been doing exactly this with their citizens
You are assuming that he has not been vaccinated or already had the disease and developed immunities.
@OlderAndWiser That still makes absolutely no difference whatsoever, he could well be a carrier without showing any symptoms.
The CDC reports that the evidence so far shows that those vaccinated do not spread the virus.
@OlderAndWiser With much respect as I'm here in the UK, I naturally have no knowledge whatsoever who or what the CDC is, so I will therefore continue with my own beliefs and understandings.
Center For Disease Control. US government agency responsible for controlling infectious diseases. Yes, I understand if you want to rely on data from within the UK.
Here is a link to our UK Government website outlining their research findings.www.gov.uk/.../past-covid-19-infection-provides-some
Well, sorry that hasn't worked.
I've taken the liberty of copying and pasting this from the website... Naturally I take no responsibility from this whatsoever. The evidence on whether COVID-19 vaccination reduces the chance of you passing on the virus is less clear. Most vaccines reduce the overall risk of infection, but some vaccinated people may get mild or asymptomatic infection and therefore be able to pass the virus on.It is highly likely that any infection in a vaccinated person will be less severe and that viral shedding will be shortened. We therefore expect that vaccinated health and care staff will be less likely to pass infection to their friends and family and to the vulnerable people that they care for.1 Mar 2021

@OlderAndWiser Thank you so much indeed, it's very interesting to note that both readings are extremely similar.
Yes, indeed.I have been fully vaccinated for two months now but I do understand people in the US being hesitant to be vaccinated. First. our expert told us it was stupid for us to be wearing masks, then they told us that wearing masks was imperative and they admitted the earlier statement was a lie because they didn't want to cause a shortage of masks for health care workers. Then they told us that we needed to stay home to stop the disease when they had no basis for making that statement nd later evidence suggested that most people contracted the disease within their home. Then we were told that a particular drug was very effective in treating the disease and because a Republican president made that statement, all Democrats and the media downplayed the effectiveness of the drug.Is it any wonder that people don't want to believe what they have been told?
@OlderAndWiser None whatsoever.Although there has been many slip ups, especially with the British Government not acting much quicker than they did, fortunately overall there has certainly not been anywhere near the total confusion or ambiguous mandatory rules and regulations that you have all had to suffer.Without Prejudice.May I just say that it's no wonder at all that your Country appears to be in such a mess, with many people rushing around like "headless chickens".
The problem here is that everyone wants to take advantage of this pandemic of become a trusted expert when they really don't know any more than anyone else. So they take an educated guess and pretend that it is an established fact and, three months later, the "established fact" has proven to be false. And the original speaker never goes back and apologizes for acting like they knew what they were talking about when they did not.
You Vaxer’s are Carriers!Shedding cells all over healthy people and spreading the virus from getting it from the Jab.. We shun all of you diseased Carrier’s !!!🤬🤬🤬😤😤😤😤😤
@JamieLoves Sounds like somebody toasted your tail!
What makes him an asshole? Reading a book?
@joeldalton not wearing a mask. Unless this was taken pre COVID and that is not a mask that girl is wearing, I was wondering that.
There’s no reason for a healthy person to wear a mask. To assume he’s sick without knowing him then calling him an ‘asshole’ is kind of a dick move.
@joeldalton That is a poor understanding of the virus and how it interacts with the general population. But I already knew you were an asshole too.
@joeldalton Also, depending on the date, the TTC made masks mandatory, so yes, he's an asshole.
Oh, I see - you’re one of those low-status males who gets off yelling at people to wear masks. That little taste of authority has you all giddy. Well it won’t last, and fuck your masks.
@joeldalton Lol did you just out yourself as an r/niceguy
what does that even mean?
(If you’re thinking I say this because he isn’t wearing a mask, that’s not why. It’s because his fucking legs are spread)
Have you never stood up in a moving train?
What's wrong with spreading your legs whilst standing on a moving train? Why do you even care?
