John Deere like all the other mega rich companies are just very creative finding ways to scam workers to increase their own profits.
Yes, you are right about that. I worked in a union shop for a while and despite some of the crazy rules they had I realized it was all done to benefit the members and to keep them from getting steamrollered by the company.
Thanks for the MHO

The workers desire more better pay and benefits. John Deere made 1.6 billion in the 3rd quarter of this year and projected to make 6 billion in profits this year. John Deere CEO saw a 160% salary increased during the pandemic. The workers desire their pay increase as well. John Deere wants to continue to scam their workers paying them a bargain salary while they keep ranking in billions. Screw that. Fight for your money.
Well from what you said it sounds like a good thing to protest
Even if you aren't a union worker, their protest for better wages and benefits will fall down to your benefit down the road. The mega rich and companies will definitely screw you over if you let them. You have to support unions and look out for yourself because billionaires and companies aren't looking out for you and your family.
Better pay increase, benefits and Healthcare.
Likely, no, then. Unions suck for the most part.
Not a wise thing to say in the least. Unions fight and negotiate on your behalf so greedy pricks don't take advantage of workers. You American have been severely brainwashed by a system pushed unto your by the mega rich politicians that has convinced you to just be happy you have a job or career with low expectations while y'all get ripped off giving all your time and energy at the expense of your family time, birthdays, holidays, health etc for a company that doesn't care about you and uses and treats you as disposable. You're too old not be savvy and see what's going on.
Unions are certainly good at enriching themselves. I’ll give you that.
