Here's a story... I was skateboarding with my friends when some dude with his 3 year old daughter walked by and told us to shut up and not swear because we are bad role models for his kid. We all started cussing him out and swearing a lot. Me, Jesus, the son of God, yes, believe it or not... Told him to "shut the fuck up" to which he replied "You fucking kids are the problem with this world" to which I replied "It's not my job to be a role model for your kid, if you don't like us, tell her she shouldn't be like us" and he answered FUCK YOU, yes, he did exactly the opposite of being a good role model, and again, he said this to ME. JESUS. the son of God. But he is actually getting into heaven, unfortunately, his daughter won't, she grew up to be a bad person.
I dont even have to. Hell, was listening to the radio in the car and the uncut version of doja cats "you right" came on. Catchy tune. Before I knew it my 3 and 7 year olds are singing about dick and sex with no idea what theyre even talking about. My son comes home from first grade asking me what "fuck you" means. I was like, boy, you must've pissed someone off... lol
I honestly don't care if people curse in front of my kids. My kids hear it on a daily basis like, 'get your ass in the shower' or 'cut the shit' or 'stop acting like a dumbass'. My husband also used to think it was funny to make my youngest say bad words at the top of his lungs in a public place lol. They are just words and one way or another they are going to hear them somewhere so there's no point in getting uspet or anything. My daughter is 16 and i've heard her curse on the phone or singing or even just talking to me but i let it go because she's a teenager and even if i tell her not to, we all know thats not going to do anything.

yes because I have a little nephew and I'm always with him so I think I'm experiencing what it feels like to be a parent in a way and I feel overprotective of him and find it inappropriate to do that in presence of little kids. Before I ever took care of him I really didn't care so much, of course I preferred if people didn't do it but I was much like whatever.. Now I'm like 🤨😠😡🤬!! respect presence of little people.
no, it didn't bother me when i was a kid, i fucking loved it, i swearing by 5, my mum always told me off for swearing but i didn't give a fucking shit, swearing is cool and more kids should swear, why the fuck not? u only live once, lets make this world a fun place where kids swear, not sum restrictive nerdy world where a kid swearing is consdidered a fucking crime, its jus a word, its not murder, its no big deal, who gives a fuck? swear away my kids, and if i had a child id tell it to swear whenever the fuck it likes
Not at all. People swear, it happens, they won't be shielded forever.
I'd rather get stuff out in the open, once they're old enough to understand and notice adults saying swear words, it will be my job to educate them that those words are not suitable for children to use.
No unless they are using the words unnecessary as the kids will have to learn m anyway doesn’t make sense hiding it.
However saying that tbh i was on the bus the other day. Some 16 year old looking girl kept swearing on the phone every 2 mins very loudly I actually found it annoying myself imagine the mum of the kid
But if you swear you should have it worry about a kid in the street hearing you. It’s bound to happen anyway
Depends on how old the kid is, and the severity of cursing. If it's a toddler to small child, even pre-teens to early teens, I'm not okay with it. But if it's like a 16-year-old or older, then it's probably okay if it's not content cursing, and not words like "b*tch", "c*nt", "wh*re", and especially not the n-word. If it's like a little "sh*t" because you spilled your glass of water, it's probably okay.
yeah, and i encourage people to not curse anyway, and I've stopped doing it too, but if i really wanna say it I'd just go like "What the f word! " or just say "b word" "c word" things that are too inappropriate to say, will be like the first letter of that word with "word" lmao.

No, it. s funny af when kids curse though, especially if they giggle uncontrollably after. People are way too uptight, let people be silly. There is an exception though, if you swear AT a child in an angry tone, thats just mean, but just swearing casually at random stuff is fine.

In general conversation between adults while children are present, a word that comes out here and there isn’t too bad. But when it’s a barrage of f-bombs, or just a lot of unnecessary cursing, then yes, it’s an issue. And it’s never okay to curse when speaking directly to children. That’s an issue for me.
Depends on the context. If I’m taking a cup out of the dishwasher and it drops and breaks Ifield comfortable muttering the word “shiiiit” under my breath. If the dog walks past and cuts me off somehow and I Trippin fumble then again I’m comfortable saying the same word. But I won’t say it when I’m directly talking to my child., it has no place there.
Usually i don't use any curse words , i make pretty sure that what i am speaking and specially in front of kids i am super sensitive that what i am speaking as they learn what we do.
No it’s funny. I actually grew up around friends and family that swore like truck drivers, and I barely swear, so not all kids will turn out crazy. But it is pretty funny when you hear a kid curse 😆

Yeah, pretty much. Especially when it's someone like this one rank insane bitch who would scream and yell at her OWN kids (pre-schoolers) like a truck driver!! "Get the fuck down off of there you motherfucking asshole!!", etc..
It doesn't bring anything good to the table and it doesn't address the real problem (whether cursing because of being in pain or because of anger), and it usually leads only to further escalation.
A little. I just think it is inappropriate just like discussing adult affairs, violence, and vulgar material before it's time. Gotta be careful what we are pouring in such impressional people.

It upsets me more when the kids curse in front of their parents. Guess where they learned to do that?
