When you workout, do you burn less calories if you take long breaks in between?

If you workout for 1 hour nonstop and if you workout for 1 hour with big breaks in between is it the same?

Or if you do 15 minutes of exercise in the morning and 15 in the afternoon, and later 30 minutes cycling? Compared to doing them all one after the other?

Do you still get the same amount of exercise? Do you burn the same amount of calories?
