No.. That's completely made up
Maybe one day you'll have a bike that actually works! Haha
Yeah, but until then my trust in them is shaken.
You and bikes need some time apart, I get it.
I’m glad someone understands, I appreciate the support.
You should delete all bike related posts from all your social media in the meantime. It will make things easier for you.
Aw. My butt is big too, maybe you need a better bike seat?
Saddle, or whatever it's called.
I don't know even know where you'd get one. I just know for most bicycles it's uncomfortable.
Yeah I get that, those things are never really comfortable. I have one that is quite soft though, so it's okay.

😉 i like to show off every once and while!
How do you know that if you have never ridden one before?
I have tried. Getting on and peddling but I always get myself nervous and find myself putting legs out to catch myself. I think it will be something I will do but I need to really commit an hour to doing it. I think I tried on grass but I think I need knee pads and elbow pads them I just need to fall until I get it
Oh yeah, I remember the avalanches of bicycles in Amsterdam! :D
I genuinely believe that bikes are taking over my country 🤣 LOL. But yeah we have loads of them
Soon your people will be enslaved by bikes!
Hahahaha oh god, a fearful future that would be!
Nice rhyme, buddy. Is it your profession or just a hobby? But your preferencefor the car you call Benzkinda - forgive my nag -makes you a douchebag.
Thanks :) it's just a little hobby. I used this way of writing when I explained my first girlfriend my feelings for her. That's when it started. And ye, I'm sorry. I'm not a rich person, but I'm about to become one :) if you work hard and clever, you can reach everything :) it's my aim to get a Mercedes AMG one day
But I can assure, that I'm not a bad man. You can find it out by yourself if you get to know me better :)
I wasn't being that serious. Although I do have lots of negative associations with people who drive Mercedes. Haha
Hahaha then you might don't like our german rap scene do you? 😂
Haha, nope. Also manches ist ja ganz witzig. Aber das meiste find ich einfach nur widerlich protzig und aggressiv. Und die Musik find ich auch scheiße. :D
Ja ^^ was hälst du dann von einer kleinen Spritztour in einem Fiat Punto? :)
Stop being douchey. ;)
Those are pretty good reasons.
Some places are easy to get around on bike. When I was in grad school I used my car maybe once a week.
Wouldn't it depend on where in the US?
Yeah. Small college towns, villages or metro areas, may be. Nothing else.I love Europe !!! That is where you live a life !!
Also depends where though. Haha
Yeah, a Swiss mountainside village probably isn't ideal for biking.
Oops... I had a very obvious typo in my first post. Pardon me. 🙏🙏🙏
@zagor Let alone that Switzerland is ridiculously expensive. lol
@Pamina I agree. Of course the larger the city, the tougher it is to cycle around. But most cities I been to, you just feel like picking up the 2 wheeler, and paddle.
Also, in places in Europe where the cobblestones are worn, you really need a mountain bike to avoid going on your face.
Switzerland is heaven !! No other way to describe it. Because of the landscape, cycling may be tough, but the public transport is so damn great, you can manage between public transport and walk.
Then you must be rich.
@zagor Hahahaha !!! Oh when I see those old towns, I just walk. I walk on average 6-8 miles in a day. When I go for work, even then I walk at least 4 at night.
@Pamina "Rich" is a relative term, right? :)
Yeah, most European towns and cities are much more suited to walking than in US. It always pisses me off how here they seem to intentionally discourage walking. A couple weeks ago I was at this area of Big Box stores, and they had hedges between them so you HAD to go back out to the road to go to the next one.
@zagor US is run by Big Oil and Big Auto. They want you trapped without abundant use of the two.
I meant rich enough to easily afford Switzerland.
@HaveNoName Bicycle riders belong in parks, not on streets violating traffic laws and running red lights.
@NYCQuestions1976 Oh shut the fuck up please.
@Pamina Have someone crash into your car on a bicycle after they've run a red light and then have them try to blame you and have you arrested and you'll change your tune.
@NYCQuestions1976 So by your logic would should also outlaw driving cars and walking on the streets. Because both these have been guilty plenty of times of the same things. If it was up to you I wouldn't be allowed to ride my bike to work every day. So FUCK YOU.
@Pamina If you follow traffic laws and don't run red lights, I don't care what you do.People driving cars stupidly and walking stupidly should also be fined. Pedestrians and bicyclists get away with breaking the law far more than drivers. That's the point and it's ridiculous.
@NYCQuestions1976 You're not exactly consistent in your opinion. You switch back and forth between "cyclists should stay off the streets" and "cyclists should learn the traffic rules".
It's more like, "in my experience, bicyclists should stay off the streets BECAUSE they almost never learn or follow traffic laws". I don't know what it's like where you are and where you ride, but in New York City they ride on sidewalks (illegal), they ride against traffic (illegal), they ride outside of bike lanes (illegal), they knock over pedestrians and leave (illegal), they run into cars when the car has the right of way (illegal AND happened to me), and they run red lights (illegal AND happened to me). They get away with this behavior because they're almost never caught and ticketed... and if they are, there's no points on their driver's license or ongoing insurance penalty. Oh well whatever. As we say on the job site, it is what it is...
@zagor As a little defense of Switzerland: it's true that things are extremely expensive here. In fact, we're regularly "competing" with Norway for 'most expensive place in the world'. BUT our wages are also very high compared to other countries. So, it just feels ridiculously expensive for tourists. If you live and work here, it's actually quite okay ;-).
@BlueCoyote I didn't find it too expensive, but then I was traveling on the cheap the first time I went, staying in hostels and such.
Trolling or are you actually that reactionary?
It's neither. It's experience. I drive in New York City all the time. The city actually has traffic lights for bicyclists, which they all totally ignore 100% of the time. I don't have enough time or space on this site to describe how many times I've had a GREEN left turn arrow while simultaneously the corresponding bicycle traffic light is RED but bicyclists just ride through as if getting hit by car would be nothing more than an inconvenience. If people are going to be riding bicycles in the streets, they should required to have a driver's license, a vehicle registration, vehicle insurance, and visible licence plates on front and back on their bicycles so the traffic cameras can catch their obnoxious and unsafe riding in the streets and the Department Of Motor Vehicles knows where to send the numerous and never-ending fines and moving violations.
That's a little different than saying "cyclists should stay in parks".
So if it was up to you, I wouldn't be allowed to ride my bike to work? Cool. Yeah, you definitely are a reactionary.
If you obey traffic laws on your bicycle, that's fine. However, in my experience, I'm sorry, but it doesn't happen...
That's not what you were saying. You said several times that you think bikes in general shouldn#t be allowed on the streets. It's not my fault what other cyclists do. Also, many people drive their cars deliberately in an aggressive way, that's also not cool
It's "taught". "Teached" isn't a word.
@NYCQuestions1976 i feel so guilty
Yes. You have bicycle wheels for legs.
Too much traffic?
Yep and shitty drivers.
