I'm off to watch my football team play their biggest rivals tomorrow, I'm full of cold, have booked 2 days off work so I can travel down and am spending a ridiculous amount of money to make sure I've got a ticket on the black market. On top of that their is a severe weather warning so there is a good chance the game will get called off or I will end up stranded making my way to the game due to floods. So in the circumstances missing a court date would seem like a luxury in comparison! lol

Well, if I have a court date, that means I'm already in some sort of trouble. If I miss the court date, I'm in more legal issues, so no, I would not miss a court date to attend a sporting event. BUT it's an interesting topic to think about.
