I get what you're saying. They are pretty damn expensive!
Why not an outdoor bike?
Because then I know I won't do it very often. I can use my stationary one at home without getting ready and can do it soon before showering. Plus I can have a fan on me and a cold drink nearby. :)
Very true. You also don't have to worry about getting hit by a careless driver.
No flat tires either to replace or fix. I barely got it about two months ago. I usually do a 5 mile ride once per week. I do weights a couple other days per week, but I work full time and am taking classes online and need some free time to myself so a stationary bike seemed like the most convenient way to go so I would actually use it some.
