Wrestling muscles? what muscles do you use as a wrestler?

I would say work out legs as much as possible because this is the one area where you are closer in strength than guys and if a guy tries to control your legs with arms you will win out everytime. Also work on biceps to get a more intimidating look and stronger arms (looking more intimidating really does help) and the biggest thing for a girl is work really hard on becoming flexible and extending your reach as far as possible in different holds. He can bend you however he wants but if you are flexible you can slip out (also just between you and me since you are a girl flexibility means when you are stuck you are able to slip in a position to take shots at his package to help you escape when you are wrapped up but you didn’t hear it from me)

Gonna be honest with you every time I wrestled a girl I dominated her with strength easily. The only time I ever lost I was a lot stronger but every time I controlled her she used her flexibility to slip out so I couldn’t pin her.

Time was running out and I got tired of her slipping out so I took a bit of a risky move. I was a lot stronger and I picked her up sideways across my waist to kinda knock the wind out of her but then she put her hand into a fist and got me in the package hard and unfortunately I dropped her and lost because I went to the mat and it took me too long to recover from the blow. (Not advocating for her dirty moves by the way) just making a point that I would have pinned her instantly but because of flexibility and the right use of her legs she was able to slip out and was even able to get out of me picking her up by being resourceful. (by the way as a girl wrestler you have a huge advantage over the guys in that refs won’t call a lot compared to guys. I don’t advocate being dirty but I will say this: if I was a girl I’d use it to my advantage especially if I just wanted wins)

I haven't wrestled for a competition so far, but i play wrestle a lot with friends.
I use all muscles on my body for that, can't say that focus on legs or arms only.
I am sure the professional wrestling are training all muscles groups.

Literally all of them and more that you had no idea you had. Ones you wouldn't think of are your hands/wrists for grip strength, neck because heavy hands suck if you can't keep your head up, stretch everything lol because you'll end up in some really weird positions that test your flexibility

I wrestled in highschool. You or arms and your legs, and all those muscles that come with them

But, stamina and technique are important, if not more important than your strength

Legs, hand grip, core, stamina and flexibility. Flexibility was my best friend my first year of wrestling in high school as everyone was stronger than me but i was so flexible i could bridge and avoid being pinned
