Okay, fair enough
I particularly hate this
I know. Some guy cursed me out in Spanish, 'cuz I posted that they should get the Argentne and Ecuadorian players fins and a snorkel 😂😂😂😂I wasn't expecting that from Argentina. Thankfully with VAR it's much harder to get away with it now. Though I don't think they should use VAR for cards. That's at the ref's discretion. Some of the players were trying to draw easy fouls and the announcer said, "This ain't the Euros, this is COPA AMERICA!"😂😂😂😂
it might be wrong to point it out and it might sound bad... but it is also true that South American soccer players are among the most trickery players in the world, and some of them are even proud... it's a "cultural thing"Suarez did something that wasn't honest, Neymar is a fake, Maradona well... the biggest cheater of all and he attributes that to "god" itselfAt the end of the day it is human nature, that's all it is... some people will step on others to get ahead, and some people will do whatever it takes in order to win... so soccer is just the same, some individuals from any nation and any league will do this, and others will not. It is a choice you make as a person, as yourself... I am sure you know Carlos Puyol and what an exemplary player he always was, a true example of what sportsmanship really is.As for the VAR, it works sometimes, most of the times... but the VAR also has a human to make the last decision, and sometimes they still make they wrong decision... so again, human nature, at the end of the day.
But WHY? Why do you think it's fair?
Because it's the rule of the game. Dangerous tackles anywhere on the pitch is a red card with suspension.
