what did you feel?
Mostly disappointed that I had to get out of the water. Surf trips aren't something I get to do all that often anymore (I did live on the beach for a year in my early 20s), so I don't like for them to be ruined.I have a healthy respect for sharks, but it's not a maddening fear that some people have.
Hey! I resemble that remark!
can you tell me what happened
It was a planned group dive with several experienced Dive Masters. I went on the dive with a group. We all descended together as a group (we were trying not to look like food) until we reached the bottom. The sharks were swimming just above us, but they didn't confuse us for food because we were below them. We all swam using only our fins and making sure to keep our hands tucked closely by our sides. The largest shark we saw was estimated to be about 13 feet long. Ascending was even more exciting. We went back up together as 1 group and sharks were swimming past my face. I was happy to get back in the boat that day. It was a LOT of fun, but once was enogh for me. Sorry... It's kinda short.
it's pretty understandable. it's been a great adventure. Were the sharks caged or free?
Free. I was 90 feet below the ocean surface.
unbelievable. great courage.
Thank you for the MHO ❤
