Florida, known as "The Sunshine State," is the southernmost contiguous state in the United States. Florida being a peninsula which is situated between the Gulf of Mexico and the Atlantic Ocean, makes it an ideal tourist destination with some of the nations must beautiful beaches like South Beach. It also has some of the nations most popular theme parks in Disney World, Universal Studios, and SeaWorld. It is also well known for The Kennedy Space Center, which has been NASA's primary launch center for manned space flight since December 1968. It also has the nations lowest elevation point, more toll roads than any other state, and is the nations largest producer of watermelons, sugar, and tomatoes along with oranges.
