Should we confront our daughter after finding pictures of her in a sting bikini on social media?

So our daughter is 14 and we monitor her FB, Intragram, etc. We have her password and are friends with her, so she does not place anything inappropriate. But a few days ago we clicked on one of her friends Intragram account and found pictures of her and her friend taking bikini selfies. We also found pictures of her at the mall in a tiny outfit she probably borrowed from her friend. Now the only reason not to confront her is she may hide what she does whereas we want to have an idea what she does with her friends.
A friend of mine says her caught his daughter fooling around with an older guy and says he probably would not have found out if he confronted his daughter earlier for minor issues.
Any thoughts?
Yes, she needs to stop
