Are there any reasons for you to choose a simple watch over a led watch?
I guess its just a preference. Also if I crack the screen on a regular watch, I dont lose the ability to see the time lol
A lange and sohne?
Technically not... wrong side of the Berlin Wall when the trinity is estabished Patek, AP and Vacheron make up the trinityAL&S are in the secondary class of great watchmakers along with the likes of Breguet, JLC and BlancpainRolex sit in the 3rd class with Omega and Breitling Then you get class 4 with TAG Heuer and Longines
Historically whatever the case might be, they still do make better watches. But that just might be my opinion..
I agree they do... I like the new sport watch AL&S put out
But what if you wanted to go hiking or swimming? You would at least need a watch which is durable and has long battery life.
I think, that's only relevant when you MAKE it relevant. When I am hiking... the only time I need to know is when I need to be ready to face darkness. The sun tells me when this will be. If that's 8.22 p. m. or 8.41 p. m. - the sun and moon don't care :)When swimming -unless you go scuba diving - it is similar: when I am aware of my surrounding... a time (or timer) is not really required. To have access to the exact time is only needed when we move within 'civilization' - and that's where we are surrounded by time-pieces of all kinds. As I type this, I can (if I want to) know the time from:- my PC- my hand phone- my girls' handphonemany kitchen applications (not mine) have built-in clocks; now add the time displays in my village shop, subway stations and what-not... I see more time than I want to :)
How about led watches? In my opinion they're better than simple watches almost at any case. They're way more durable, they also tell you some other stuff like weather and what day it is. And their battery last as long as simple watches. Those things in the mind, I would never get a simple watch.
Same thing here lol :D
Would you prefer huawei's GT 2 watch? It's rounded aswell and its battery lasts a week with always on display. Biggest con of the huawei's watch is its slow and kind of laggy.
That's not bad looking at all.
Not even fitness tracker?
Nope... don't need em
