How can I see a private Instagram account without following?

I have sent a follow request but he doesn't seem to be using Instagram actively. He seems like someone i lost contact with and i wanna make sure if it's the same guy from his photos. The name is the same. But i really wanna see his account. So is there any way to do that? Maybe hacking or any app?

I don't think there is any "hack" or app for it. Make dummy (fake) account and follow him in that account. I think that's you're best bet
