You described it perfectly! Spot on mate!
Meeting strangers is a treasure to keep forever!
You described it perfectly. However, as a tourist, there are some lessons too. Would you love to elaborate on them?
That's all of what I learned. I got a very general and superficial feel about the different countries. I saw some historical sites. It's just fun, or for business. Otherwise I don't really recommend it.Generally it's better to go by ship or train, because car and airplane travel are actually very dangerous even though we've become so used to the idea that we don't sense the danger anymore.I immigrated too. I don't recommend that one at all!
From where to where did you immigrate? And why do you feel that it is a bad option? Do you love cruise tours?
From the middle East to the US.Unless you absolutely have to because something is preventing you from living a normal life, it's not a good idea to leave your family behind.
Also, food and healthcare are as sh**ty as hell.
I like short 1-2 hour cruise trips at most. It gets boring pretty quick. You can't do anything special there, you can only do the same things that you can do on land, except with a lot more limitations.
I agree with so many points you said. I can understand the family perspective. How is the experience of making new friends after immigrating? Woah!
Depends on your personality. Like if you are outgoing and persistent, you will. I think you will be able to make friends. There are PLENTY of in-person digital platforms where people can meet in groups for different activities. Plus, lots of work friends, and lots of people you can meet during sports, games, etc. They're fun people. But although I think I can be a great friend, nobody seems to want to hang out with me. Sadly, I haven't been able to fill the void of my BFFs from HS and uni.
I can relate to you somewhat. I have struggled to make new friends since my college began. I refuse to hang out many times because of work.

Just business opportunities?
Thats the main thing for me. Business opportunities means more meaningful travel. I like travelling so more travelling due to that is my goal. Exploring more places and profitting from it. What more does one want from life?
That's great! For me, travelling is all about immersing in cultures and interacting with people while soaking in the natural beauty each place has to offer.
That is the package. If you get business opportunities then you get to witness that too. The business meetings or deals normally take place in the day. So roam around the peak times, interact with the locals, see the sites. Try their nice restaurants. Relax.
Geez, you summed that up perfectly. I hope the pandemic subsides so that we can relish the prospect of hopping onto a plane again to uncharted territories.
Yea. For now its just essential travel.
Don't you think that the restrictions are draconian? More people are likely to die of mental illness if this drama won't end soon.
I don't know mate. I dont even know what to believe now. But yea, it is questioning a lot of people's will to live.
Exactly. I guess freedom cannot be taken over my Marxist laws.
Like what? Can you elaborate?
