@questionman you know my opinion on Brexit and that it was a fucking awful idea so this should tell you just how bad of an Idea Scottish independence is
You and me both were against Brexit from the beginning lol.I actually got hate from people I usually agree with on a lot of stuff it was weird.I thought Remain was common sense.
They are proposing using the pound again. That's good except: (a) the Bank of England would still control interest rates, with no Scottish influence: that's not independence; (b) without a central bank, Scotland wouldn't be admitted to the EU; (c) without adopting the Euro, Scotland wouldn't be accepted into the EU.
@guyngals I thought joining the EU to use the Euro was part of their plan.
@guyngals Seems silly considering during the last referendum the British government told them there wouldn't be a currency union if they left. Doubt May's government would change that stance. It also seems counterproductive to take the pound and then switch to the Euro since all EU members have to use the Euro now.
They should just drop the whole independence nonsense.Do you have a preference?
@guyngals I was against independence in 2014, against Brexit and I'm against their second attempt at independence now. Things will just get extremely messy if they leave. I can still remember Alex Salmond's naivete and over reliance on oil. This will be no different.
Nice to know.
There was a difference of 400k in Scotland so it was pretty much equal, a lot of Walsh people wanted to leave as well
@19magic Really? I didn't know that. I haven't read too much about it. Just going by what I've heard.
Something like that it was a big % difference but people wise it wasn't that much
Lol how do you know that?
@anonman32 Yo I like heard that they bring in those refugees and shit
Hahahaha i like how you are not politically correct. Its true though.
@anonman32 Do I look like a political correct nerd to you lmao?
I guess not.
@anonman32 TBH the EU is partially at fault for this whole thing; they should have to deal with the consequences
@FallOutBoy2001 we didn't do anything wrong. We shouldn't let these rapefugees in just like that.
@anonman32 ah, you're one of those
@FallOutBoy2001 yeah im European what about it? The only reason we let them in is because declining birth rates. We just need to fuck and make babies more, we dont need refugees.
@anonman32 I said you were "one of them" not meaning European, it's the act you call them "rapefugees" because clearly people fleeing death are here to rape you
@FallOutBoy2001 crime rates have gone up. And they are mainly men coming here not to flee death but to flee military conscription in Syria.
@anonman32 Lol "we need to fuck and make babies more"Reminds me of this. Do it for Denmark.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vrO3TfJc9Qw
If only germany was like this.
Plus a failing currency the Euro, and rapefugees
@john52461 yeah i dont understand why multiple countries would use the same currency. like when greece was fucked germany had to pay for it. why would you even be in the EU then? its always they weaker that drain the stronger.
@anonman32 white women love middle eastern men, my friend said that on his visit to Stockholm and Berlin he saw white women everywhere with multiracial children, so this might be good for Europe having immigration.
@Jorge567 you mustve missed about the many right wing girls in Europe. The right is silent becauase freedom of speech is supressed but it is rising. You think Europe is lost because we have been calm for 20 years? You mustve missed the other 2000 years of war. When we are bored we even fight amongst ourselves. We know nothing but hard work and war mate. It is not a secret many middle easterners come here becauase Europe is so great, but bullshit will not be tolerated, not for long at least.
@anonman32 the only European countries that I see that are right wing or have A strong anti immigrant stance are in Eastern Europe, places like Poland, Hungary, Slovakia, etc
@Jorge567 media supression is a bitch isn't it?
@anonman32 funny and true

Thank you someone sees it for what it is. Like Scotland get free uni which me as an English has to pay 9k for, which I'll take the next several decades paying off. Then pay taxes for the rest of my life so that a Scottish person can get in for free.
@19magic Both Scotland and Ireland get a free ride on the backs of the people of England. I think the chances they will voluntarily give that up are pretty close to zero. Here in the United States we also have some leeches that get a free ride off of our backs in a similar fashion... such as Puerto Rico. Every decade or so you hear this ridiculous talk about how Puerto Rico might vote on gaining independence from the US. Yeah right! Which is a better chance? A slim chance or a fat chance? PLEASE PLEASE I WISH THEY *WOULD* get independence. But it will never happen because they know how great they have it.
Plus she's said she won't call for a referendum if free movement is allowed and that will never happen. Scotland can leave the UK and stay outside of the EU or stay with the UK outside of the EU.
The majority of Scots voted against Brexit so independence is heavily tied to joining the EU.
Yeah that's because they're to used to being owned by England.
Amount of things in Scotland that's paid by English taxpayers, your standard of living will immediately go up from leaving the uk and so would the protection detail since the sea is generally monitored by the English navy
@19magic no it wouldn't because I don't live in Scotland.I said I was part Scottish and that "if" I did.
If you did how would you vote?
EU is only responsible for regulations not laws and states have the final say.
Eh, I don't like the idea of the European parliament
Eu has the final say in many laws, and eu overrides any laws that the parliament makes even if we didn't agree on it as a country. Meaning some laws might not suit our needs but we have to oblige by them
You think they are suffering?
@ernest1 They were suffering in the middle ages, and they have a right to restore their independence, language and culture.
They did 2 years ago it was really close. After the Brexit vote the results showed that the majority of Scots voted to Remain in the EU.The Scottish government is on that justification making a new push for independence.
Oh I see, hope the Scottish citizens changes their mind this time
Majority try 400k that's not as much big of a difference now is it?
