What blows my mind is how trump supporters aren't seeing how suspicious the timing of all this is. I can't even understand how stupid some people are.

And there will be a new FBI director cdn.theatlantic.com/.../main_900.jpg?1420519465Orletteradonna.it/.../...770x415x36x170x1848x996.jpg
I think its more closely tied to the FBI investigations against Trump and Comeys actual intent to proceed with them instead of dropping them on orders from Trump himself.
Nixon was elected as well. What's your point?
Why is everything Simone's job? I'm pretty sure someone else can do something around here. Poor Simone.
yes, now that krennic is.. oh wait your not talking about that director are you?
@awesometjgreen haha. Wrong director.
krennic was a good man...
Lets dig up J Edgar Hoover
You do realize comey was fired because of a recommendation by someone who is respected by both sides, right?
@Thisperson98 Given his history of not listening to experts, it's highly unlikely that Trump fired Comey because of Rosenstein's opinion.
You do realize both parties wanted him fired right? And trump wanted to fire him from the beginning, so as soon as he got a recommendation to fire him, he did.
@Thisperson98 The widespread animosity against him wasn't because of the reason he got fired, namely that he was investigating Trump's ties to Russia and had just asked for more money to do so. Given the timing of Comey's request and Rosenstein's recommendation, I doubt that Rosenstein is is held in much regard anymore.
Considering he was just following recommendations by the DOJ, it probably wasn't to cover something up.
