CNN hahahahahahahThere's so much proof about just how much they lie. They are so fucking biased it's unbelievable. BBC is fine I guess, but CNN, please no.
their opinion sided news is shady but they don't come right out and lie
I would disagree. Not sure if it's intentional, but the WILL post pretty much anything against Trump without verifying the sources. I'm not a Trump fan but this is just disgusting.
if that were true he could sue them for defamation.it's opinion pieces that say that. and opinions are open season
So basically, if you write something like it's news, but then you slap an "opinion" tag on it, it's okay? I'm okay with opinions, but it's not okay when someone tries to state that something is a fact, and then just slaps the "Opinion" tag on it so they won't get their ass sued.
that's about it lolabout 15 years ago, I think. fox news was sued over falsifying the news. it was because of the grow hormones in us made milk and their effect on humans.turns out the company who made the hormones also was a major sponsor of fox news the case was overturned because the Constitution grants a freedom of the press. in this case, the freedom of the press to lie in any opinionsso when the news says trump tweeted, something. he did.where they make it misleading is they will take single lines out of context and not give the other side a proper chance to discuss it. then they make jumps to what it means without basis.to be fair they do it to everyone
Let's agree to disagree. Maybe they do it to everyone, but when it comes to Trump.. holy fucking shit, they will say anything to make him look bad.
what did we disagree on? I thought we were on the same page lollast week they said Bernie saunders was calling all progressives into the street to attack conservatives lolall because he made a speech and a line in the speech was that the current administration is dangerous.
For example, when they posted about his inauguration. They posted a photo, claiming that very few people came, and compared it to Obama's, where there was a huge crowd. Few hours later, it turned out that the photo of Trump's inauguration was taken hours before the actual event, while Obama's was right from during the event, so the crowd was much larger. Call this a lie or not, call this an opinion or not, I just think this practice is disgusting.
Yeah maybe they do it to pretty much everyone, but definitely not in the same amount. Also, that doesn't justify anything. A crime or malpractice is still the same and actually even worse when they "do it to everyone". Doesn't justify anything.
yeah they all do that. go-to a protest rally in DC or New York. whether you agree with it or not. then watch three news channels report it.you'll get three different numbers all wrong
oh I agree! in Canada there USED to be a law that said whenever an opinion was stated a counter opinion must be as well.designed to allow the viewers to choose and think for themselves.this isn't true anymore and it's wrong
That would be great, but I think it would be ignored anyway. The would just say something against their own opinion but not use any reasoning or evidence, so the counter-opinion would be seen as a weak one and they would happily keep pushing their agenda.
yeah, you'd really have to have someone from the other school of though defend their own side
I can't express how much I'd like to see that. But that's not today's world. Today's world is a crowd of people yelling and booo-ing at a guy holding a sign saying "Free speech must be protected and preserved". I know it's an awful exaggeration, but it actually happened. It's quite an ironic depiction of the time we live in right now.
Seems like news outlets do anything to get revenue these days.
It's nonsense and actually was spread though Facebook and Twitter - a lot of people believed it without looking up the facts.
It kinda funny how the headline mentions human rights but May wants them abolished.
