And people who glorify depression and suicide is just as bad. Suicide is a choose, not mandatory.
Mate I agree with you 100%, that's why I was so sickened by the people saying it was selfish so I wanted to start a discussion about it here

a truck load of soldiers die and no one bats an eye. .. and for those that been on those trucks and seen the aftermath well its 22 a day. ..
You're making the very risky assumption that he was able to think.
@JenSCDC the risky assumption that he was able to think? everyone is capable of thinking.
Not when you're in overwhelming pain.
@JenSCDC you may not think correctly but you still think
No doubt he thought of his kids a lot beforehand. I've been close myself and when you're that low your thoughts aren't "I can't do it they'll miss me" they're "Nobody will care"
Oh well I haven't ever like been that close so I wouldn't know but that makes sense
He probably did think of his kids. I don't see him as doing harm by him killing himself, but rather he just stopped doing good.Meaning when he killed himself, his action didn't actually harm his kids, but now that he is dead, he can't do good things for his kids anymore.I know my argument might anger you, so feel free to disagree, but I will always stand by the people who commit suicide.
Sorry to hear that, brother
@gudghuge I appreciate that
I know my argument is going to piss you off, but she had every right to commit suicide. It's her life. She doesn't need a reason or excuse.Yes her decision might harm others, but her stake in her own life outweighs everyone else's stake in her life. She had no obligation to prolong her suffering to prevent her friends and family from grieving over her.
@Deathcore_Rulez_D00d you are entitled to your opinion. And you could post it. You didn't need to reply it to shove it down my throat. You did it to piss me off. Believe it or not, you do need a reason or excuse. Just killing yourself is selfish and stupid. Every life matters. And every second of that life is important.
I'm not shoving it sown your throat. I'm just doing it to stand by the suicide victim. Yes every life matters, until you decide it doesn't matter anymore. You decide whether your life matters or not. No one controls your life but you.
@Deathcore_Rulez_D00d that is a contradiction and untrue. Many effect, influence and control your life, you only control how you react. Choosing to end your life, though doable is wrong. Every life matters until the individual decides it doesn't? And what if the real victims, the ones left behind? The person who killed themself is not the victim, just the person who left their victims behind. Why do they leave victims behind? Because they still mattered. You have the right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. Death is not a right. If you wish to prove me wrong, show me any death that wasn't mourned by someone.
Now hear me out. I don't see people killing themselves as harming their friends and families, but rather they just stop doing good. The reason you like your friends and family is because of all the good things they do for you, and the reason you are sad when they die, is because they stop doing good things for you.No one is under any obligation to do good for others. If I develop emotional connections with people and give them a sense of joy, I have the right to take tale that joy back any time, because I'm the one that gave it to them in the first place.
@Deathcore_Rulez_D00d you are again wrong. You can have opinion. But I do not see it that way. From my perspective and experience, you are wrong.
He was in incredible pain. It was impossible for him to think, only to suffer.
sure just sit back suffer in silence among family. .. let your loved ones see the unknown pain. .. stare at them knowing that they cannot take it away let them give you that look of helplessness and then fear. .. then its them looking through you not at you
@blackwolf3x what kind of melodramatic crap is that?
just my life man I know my limits of bullshit and when to say fuck this shit
There is no hope when the soul weeps
Wrong for seeking peace huh
The guy had kids with like 3 different women, so it's not like he leaves all 6 kids to one woman.
is there something wrong with that or did he not get his cookie
Because it's fucked UP and shows you don't care how other people feel just yourself
There's people struggling with illnesses every day fighting to survive there's slaves that's had to endure hell and millions people that would give anything to have had one more day
It's honestly more selfless than selfish. When you're that low you feel like you're a burden to your friends to your family to everyone around you. You commit suicide because you think nobody will care and that people can finally get on with your life when you're gone
Yes but those people with cancer and the like want to live that's the difference they don't suffer from depression
suicide is just an easy way out of a tough time anyone who does it I have no respect for they wasted every gift they had because life was really shit for awhile
It's nothing to do with "life being shit for a while", your life can be fucking amazing but it doesn't mean shit when you've got a chemical imbalance in your brain
Why ask the question if your gonna bitch about the response
I used to believe that as well, until I worked with people with depression (and suffered with it myself). It becomes such a deep-dark hole that consumes your life. You feel like life is so hopeless, that suicide is the only way out. You are both hopeless, helpless, and cannot see a future. The guilt of leaving your loved ones behind is constantly on your mind, but you begin to believe they are better off without you. Often, it is out of a moment of impulsivity that they attempt suicide. It is really hard to explain to someone who has never experienced depression or worked with someone who has it.
@MandyRuth i understand it sucks im not saying it doesn't but suicide is the worst crime someone can commit I've lost people that would give anything to be here today and for someone to throw it all away shows how little they appreciate life
Again, its part of the disease. It's easy to judge someone who has committed suicide as "throwing away their life", and yes, it is angering to think someone could do such a thing. That is the sad part about depression, being unable to see the preciousness of life. They are unable to feel any sort of happiness in their lives anymore; nothing gives them joy. It is nothing but sadness. Life becomes a living personal-hell and suicide is the only option they see. Really, it is depression people should be angry at, not the person themselves.
@MandyRuth I really don't wanna argue it's just my position I don't think it's easy I don't think it's fun but I do think suicide is Quitting and I could never feel sorry for quitters
How many abortions you had
