High school Vice Principal and Athletic Director tells students to blame girls for 'ruining everything'. Should he be fired?

Allie_Oops
The vice principal and athletic director of Soddy Daisy High School has been put on leave for putting out a video to students blaming the girls in the video for new dress code rules. He then says that they 'ruin everything', and he equates it back to Adam and Eve when Eve presented Adam with the apple (which, if you read the Bible, you will know that God held Adam accountable for eating the apple, not Eve, because Adam was put in charge of the garden, not Eve).

Anyway, a lot of students, teachers, and people in the community are claiming he was obviously joking and that all the good things he did in the community should mean he should not be fired for his comment. But others say it's clear he wasn't joking as his tone and body language indicate that he was very frustrated and annoyed. They're also concerned that him being a high position in a female dominated profession is an issue since he feels this way about girls and women.

Since he is a vice principal, he can't really be moved into a different position in the district without a pay raise. At most, he can be put in a classroom where he will receive a significantly lower pay as a teacher, but it also puts him closer with the students. Besides, this would most likely cost another teacher their job since most schools (mine included) operate on a Reduction in Force system which means Seniority rules over all else when a position is axed.

What do you think? Should he be fired? Video is below.
Yes, he should be fired. That type of mentality does not belong in our schools.
Vote A
No, he should not be fired. It was a poor joke, but not worthy of him losing his job.
Vote B
No, he should not be fired, but he should take some type of sensitivity training.
