Agreed. So, you walk, right? And you don't use electricity, right? Because most electricity comes from fossil fuels, and most cars run on fossil fuels or energy produced with them... It doesn't really matter where we dig it up if we are still using it! Origin<Consumption
@JMghow You are partially correct. I use my bike, I use public transportation and I limit my long haul travel to one return ticket a year to visit my parents
Well, that's better than nothing, but you are still consuming fossil fuels and those have to come from somewhere and still pollute when used.
@JMghow I totally agree with you but I am conscious that I do more to reduce fossil fuel consumption than the average citizen. Europe is by far more advanced than we are when it comes to using alternative energies
Look, I think what you are doing is good, but as I see it we aren't going to advance the human race by buying foreign oil over domestic. Even ignoring the environmental and merely examining the economics, oil is a finite resource. We have to move away from it in the long run, and we need to lower overall consumption to boot. Saudi Arabia will never do that, and will never care to. In fact, they've commented about the danger of that and even funded pushing away from alternative energy. Keeping that money domestic stimulates our economy, which means more money for US companies which do research alt energy, US government which regulates waste output, and citizens like you and me so we can work towards fixing this ourselves. You know, most innovations come from "nobodies" like you and me. Having resources and access only improves our ability to do that.
@JMghow JMghow, I agree with you 100%. We are marginals like many others are in their own beliefs. Just remember that marginals are the ones that have started certain movements that have made people aware that these changes must occur and that the entire society must work together.I am actually uncomfortable talking about the entire energy issue because I am not good at politics. My field is rather the "problems of the heart". I just decided to accept you challenge and obviously, I am not in my element here.Nevertheless, I felt it was worth a try and I realize I still have a lot to learn in this field
Well, we all do. That's the nature of life, and we only stop learning when we stop living.
@JMghow So true and that is why I prioritize my education over my sex life. I have received a lot of critics for voicing my opinion

But I like Russia, and I like America being an energy producer... :(
@JMghow what is it you especially like about Russia’s government?
You mean, aside from Putin? Look, we live in an age where we feign egalitarianism while TV hosts like Don Lemon decry racism while they try to excuse racially based attacks where a mentally challenged kid was tortured for days and scalped on facebook live and then egg on even more by call an entire race a massive terrorist threat, where segregation is wrong but we have black only dorms, graduations and even expel whites from evergreen, where sexism is wrong but women outnumbering men in college is celebrated while former president Obama decries a fictitious wage gap while ignoring the death gap or the hours worked gap or the benefits gap and men have next to no funding for shelters despite making up about half of domestic abuse victims, the overwhelming majority of the homeless and 4 out of 5 suicides. Frankly, his no-nonsense approach to white genocide and feminism in the age of #killallmen #yesallmen and telling whites that racism is literally in our DNA is refreshing, because
the whole "there are no teams, but you aren't welcome here" routine has made him our fucking hero.
@JMghow care to hone your rant to exactly what you like about Russia’s government?
That they jail and execute SJWs before we end up with Antifa putting bags over peoples heads to suffocate them and throwing explosives into unarmed crowds the police disarmed while the police just sit in their cars and do nothing. I prefer harsh law to harsh lawlessness, especially when that harsh lawlessness demands enough law exists hold down the innocent while they are abused. We are too weak and wishy-washy to survive, much less maintain our "lofty" ideals. They will continue to exist long after we have all killed each other. They are the practical choice.
@JMghow OMG, you are completely our of your mind. You don’t deserve the freedoms afforded to you by the United States Constitution but are too ignorant to be thankful for them.
Maybe, but innocent girls don't deserve to be beaten with flagpoles and sprayed with mace just for exercising their right to freedom of individual political thought, and leftie SJWs still went and did it WITH IMPUIGNITY, so what good are those constitutional protections at the end of the day? Democracies are made up of people, and when people become too corrupt and evil to coexist, tyranny is at least survivable. Do you have a better option? You know, one that doesn't evolve lefties bombing our crowds and beating our children? Because I'm all ears...
@JMghow you do understand that the Russian governments go to choice regarding those who disagree with the Kremlin is to have them assassinated.
You do understand that weeding your garden prevents it from being overgrown, and that they do not have violent mobs beating little girls with flagpoles and spraying them with mace because they don't like her having her own opinion on which candidate she likes precisely because they weed their garden? I've seen what we have, I see what they have, and I've made my assessment to which is worse. If you have a solution, let's hear it. Otherwise, fuck the domestic terrorists and genocidal racists, I'm with Putin! Seriously, how are they worse? What do you think we are preserving? The right to be oppressed and killed by a mob rather than a salaried agent? Who cares? At least they can get to work safely!
Ain't that the damn truth
